Capcom Disallows Deleting Save Progress with Latest NDS Title

More often than not, if I return to a game after not touching it for a while, I'll start my quest over from the start, to take in the game as if it were my first time through. In fact, I am currently doing this with Mafia II for the third time, and have been loving it. Well, imagine if you were...

Fixing old PCs is not fun...

It's not so much the hardware i don't like working with, that's fine... it's the explaining to someone with no PC knowledge that I can't install this 500GB hard drive in their system because it doesn't have SATA ports... or i can't install the latest OS or upgrade its memory because it can't...

Using a Computer Without a Mouse for a Week

At tech site ITworld, there's a feature called 'I'll Try It!' where one lucky (or unlucky) person gets to live for seven days doing something unconventional, to see how they'll get by. Normally, I'd be up for all sorts of challenges, because how bad could they be? Well, a recent challenge laid...

Quake I Turns 15; What Are Your Memories?

Alright, I'm not sure how I let this one slip under my radar, and I really can't believe it's been a full fifteen years since Quake hit the PC, but it's true. The game that followed in the footsteps of Wolfenstein 3D and Doom wouldn't have been easy to fill, but Quake managed to do the job. At...

What Happens when RIFT Allows Free Server Transfers...

Take a medium-high population server, put it at the top of a transfer list and watch as all hell breaks lose in a 4 hour period over the weekend. Thankfully, transfers have since been disabled on the Alsbeth server, but it doesn't make up for the fact that what was once an instant login...

    PC Gaming isn't dead....again.

From the article... What is he talking about? Fragmented nature of consoles? There are 3 consoles and 2 or 3 handhelds. Sure, there are various SKUs, but they are just minor revisions and bigger hard drives - it's the same console. And short lifecycle? Since when was 7-10 years classified as...

A Quick Look at Sabayon 6

This is to cover my own personal experience, since it would be impossible to add all the details to the quick look article. How to transfer a saved file from one PS3 to another without problems?

That's the game being difficult... plenty do that... you can't transfer the file directly, you have to use the backup utility in the system settings somewhere. You save the backup of the game data and then transfer it that way to a new PS3. It's silly and absurd, but that's the only way I know of.

@Optix Yeah... i couldn't resist, it had to be turned into a sig :D @Kougar I know what you mean about the CG - one of the pics had a really basic 3D render look... the one above looks closer to a photo really.
