I knew that EA sold multiple versions of the same game on various consoles, but I never knew it was that many, but indeed it is. 94 different versions of the FIFA 08 were sent out around the world, in 20 different languages and on seven different platforms. Damn, is all I can say. It's just...

It's been known for a while that NVIDIA has been trying to break through to other markets, but a new announcement at MWC shows they are delving into one of the smartest markets of them all... the smartphone market. The graphics chip company is showing off the fruits of its $357 million...

From our front-page news: Where their processors are concerned, AMD can't catch a break lately. Late last week, news broke that Dell removed many AMD-based machines from their website, noting that they would still be available through regular retail outlets and also via the telephone. Why they...

Microsoft Makes WGA in Vista SP1 More of a Nag

From our front-page news:I'm sure it goes without saying that Microsoft's WGA protection for Windows is nothing more than a pain in the rear, but they are working towards making it much easier to deal with along with the launch of Vista's Service Pack 1. But at the same time, they are not making...

OCZ Offers Up a Fast 4GB DDR2 Kit

From our front-page news: Maxing out your machine with lots of RAM has never been easier, thanks in part to cheap DDR2 parts. Last year, 8GB of RAM would have set you back at least $600, but now, prices have dwindled to the extent of that being possible for as low as $200. It's truly incredible...

CoolIT PURE Silent Liquid CPU Cooler

Having the ability to overclock a Quad-Core processor while keeping your machine quiet used to be a pipe-dream, until CoolIT's latest CPU cooler came into the picture. With the PURE, we managed a nice 3.67GHz clock on our QX6850, all while being able to hear our hard drives over the cooler. You...

OCZ 2GB DDR3-1600 Titanium - Intel XMP Edition

DDR3 might be slow to catch on, but the competition is fierce and the selection, huge. One of the first DDR3 kits to really catch my eye was OCZ's Titanium 2GB PC3-12800, featuring an XMP profile to offer even better settings than what are advertised. Luckily, it also has some OC'ing room to...

    So, I'm buying a PC..

Trust me, my load is huge. Don't worry about that. That aside, my PC wouldn't even hit 400W full load, I'm not worried even if this thing topped out at 401W.

    So, I'm buying a PC..

Yeah, sadly, while OCZ has made some great products over the years, their PSU's have suffered to some degree. PSU's are a difficult thing to master, and it really helps to have someone on staff who really knows the ins and outs of the products. I am not sure OCZ has someone like that there...

    Vista... sucks

This kind of thing frustrates me, because I without fail run into issues with Vista, no matter what I am using it on. If I build a computer and install it, I run into bizarre issues. If I receive a brand-new notebook to review, I run into bizarre issues. I have no idea how some people seem to...

    So, I'm buying a PC..

This is the downfall of getting a "pre-built" machine. The choice is extremely limited. But given the choice you have, you might as well go with the OCZ... there's not much else unless you want to go higher. If it receives good reviews, then so be it. As for Overclock3D, I don't understand...

    Vista... sucks

I hope it's not a constant problem with the 64-Bit version of Vista for some reason. That's the OS I chose to use in our upcoming GPU reviews.

    Vista... sucks

I had that same problem the other day... it's really strange you mention it. Coincidently, it was also with the 64-Bit version I was using. Re-installed three times, and each time, I'd receive Explorer.exe crash errors.

    So, I'm buying a PC..

I don't give much credibility to a power supply review where a load tester wasn't used ( we were guilty of this in the past ). Using a multi-meter doesn't tell you the whole story. That said, there was a review from a reputable PSU reviewer regarding a similar PSU that received good ratings...

Want to OC my new computer when it arrives.

As soon as you receive the machine, download and open CPU-Z to see what revision the CPU is. If it's B3, then it will run slightly hotter. If it's G0, then the overclocking ability is going to be great! With that TEC cooler, depending on its performance, overclocking should be solid. I can see...

    O C Z 4 gig ram

Don't fit side-by-side? Haha, what an oversight that might have been. I have never touched Reapers with those exact spreaders, so I'm not sure about that. The timings on those are NICE though... real solid kit. I am using an OCZ 4GB kit atm, but the timings are 5-5-5. Still not too shabby for...

    So, I'm buying a PC..

I have no knowledge of PSU's whatsoeever, so I'd recommend reading reviews from reputable sites before committing to a purchase. I stress "reputable" because so many sites review PSUs and have no clue how to do it properly ( I was guilty of this in the past ). Reviews where load testers were...
