Discuss: Altec Lansing XT1 Notebook Speakers

Ahh, makes sense to me, lol. If you keep the case open, it could likely be done, but might not be the easiest thing to pull.

    AMD or Intel?

If you plan on doing a lot of gaming, I would go with AMD. AMD is better for CAD in some instances, especially for 3D, but is slower in 2D. Intel however, is not as good for gaming and 3D in CAD, but is better than AMD in 2D. So in reality, they both kind of even themselves out. But since...

Discuss: Altec Lansing XT1 Notebook Speakers

Lol.. If that's the case, you would use headphones, at least I would. And driving and having laptop going.. not good unless you are a cop :P

Discuss: Altec Lansing XT1 Notebook Speakers

Not really. The case is meant to be as compact as possible, so when you have everything in there, you would have a hard time fitting a quarter in there, hehe. Why would you leave them in the case though?

    PC Cases

That is a great looking case. It looks clean and beasty at the same time.

Discuss: Altec Lansing XT1 Notebook Speakers

"How easy is it to leave the speakers in their carrying case and still have them connected?" I am not entirely sure what you mean by that. Do you mean during travel, can you leave the cords connected? You are unable, because they stick out too far, then you cannot close the case. Yes...

Discuss: Altec Lansing XT1 Notebook Speakers

Yes, some cons throughout the review didn't warrant it a mention in the end. For instance, The sound doesn't sound awesome in Linux as it does Windows, but that's because it's not supposed to sound great in Linux, and that's why it's unsupported. Also, the other minor gripes I had, such as...

"You think just because you have a Notebook PC, that you have to have poor sound? Altec Lansing disagrees, and they prove it with their XT1 Notebook Speaker set. Read on to see how they perform." Check out the review here, and then feel free to comment or ask questions here!

    Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2

This has to be one of the most drooled over, [at least with me] laptops EVER. Man, a 6800U in a LAPTOP. Really, it's an overclocked 6800, but damn, the benchmarks! I'm sure it's just a matter of time before we see SLi in a laptop :|

FLATOUT : New game to be released In June, I believe...

It is shaping up to be a great looking game, I played the demo. However, I am wondering if it's going to be one of the games where they focus on the main selling point [ragdoll physics, heh], and the game suck. I noticed as the character was flying through the air during a crash, that his...

    Tech Time!

A+ Cert is one of the easiest tests you are going to take, so take it earlier than later, for sure. I don't mean it's 'easy', but it's far from being hard, compared to some tests you may need to take.

How to NOT set up a RAID.

So.. I bought a 160GB HDD today.. because I'm running out of room on my other space, and I refuse to take music OFF my computer, even though I back all of it up. Well, I set up a RAID without much thought, and I must have set up the wrong RAID without thinking. Next thing I know, my music HDD...
