    Asus Xonar Soundcard Drivers!

Okay, so Asus stopped releasing drivers for the older Xonar cards, but that doesn't mean they've stopped developing them. Lucky for us they all use the same base driver and each driver has the hardware specifications for all of our cards. Big thanks to cladisch on the Asus forums. "The...

    Soul Calibur IV

Anyone else get a chance to try it yet? I'd recommend you rent it before rushing out and buying it. The game's essentially the same thing you've played in the previous games with some Star Wars exclusives that you'll likely never end up using. Personally I found this to be one of the most...

    Battlefield : Bad Company

Picked it up today. Game was released on X360 & PS3 Mini-Review: A solid game, best of the series yet, but only by a small margin. Makes you wonder what else they can do for Battlefield 3 (aside from y'know, releasing it on PC with stunning detail in comparison to the consoles). They've...

Raid Controllers : Onboard VS PCI?

Tempted to put my 250gb Barricuda's into a Raid0 array again, not sure if I should go with an onboard raid controller (new mobo) or just keep my current setup and grab a PCI Sata/Raid controller. Thoughts? I'm pretty clueless on this one. (Edit) And let's this a budget of 100$ while we're at it :).

    OCing my Q6600

Gigabyte P35-DS3L 2gb OCZ-DDR2-800 Q6600 G0 Too lazy to type the rest. Yesterday I was running an unstable OC of 400x8 for a while, idle temps ~36, load temps ~55-60. After a minute or two of prime95 it'd crash. Before I went to bed, I thought I might try 356x9, booted fine, temps...

Anyone go to a Black Friday door crasher?

A few classmates and I left southern NB at about 11PM and headed down to Bangor, Maine. By the time we got there (12:30/1AM EST) the Best Buy line easily had 1,000 people. So we went to Circuit City. A friend of mine managed to pick up a Samsung 245BW for 329$ (+86$ at the border). I was...

    Razer Lycosa

Razer's new Lycosa Keyboard looks fantastic. But there's one thing that sets me off... "Keytop with non-slip rubber finish With its non-slip rubber finish, the Razer Lycosa offers optimum tactile comfort and makes slipping up in the heat of action a thing of the past" Does that mean it's the...

    Nvidia's 8800GT Released

So the 8800GT released the other day, and.. well, most if not all benches speak for themselves. The general margin seems to be 85% of the GTX's performance. SKYMTL's review of the 8800GT Superclocked from EVGA Not only is the card a hundred dollars less than the 8800GTS-320, it beats the...
