    Stock AMD HSF Units

To me, if you are not going to overclock at all, then it really won't matter what thermal paste you use. But, at full load, Dual Cores get very hot regardless. If your case has good airflow, you shouldn't really have much to worry about. The cooler that's included with the 4600+ is pitiful...

Keepin my homies in tha loop...

Can't wait to see the progress man. I am not personally a huge fan of hockey (despite being canuckian), but it's still impressing me thus far.

    Stock AMD HSF Units

I personally would upgrade regardless of whether you need a better cooler. The one that is included is so utterly cheap, that I don't want it anywhere near my PC. Of course, if you don't have a window on your PC and could care less about ever looking inside, then it wouldn't really matter...

    Ratpadz XT

It's been a while since we've seen a new Ratpadz release, but here we have the XT. It's an update to the original, which is designed to be very sturdy while offering you a slick surface to give you precise control. You can read the full review here and discuss it here.

    Mushkin 2GB XP2-8500

It's been a few months since we've had the opportunity to play with a Mushkin kit, but we now have their XP2-8500 on the hotseat. We compare its performance to Super Talents and Kingstons top kits to see who comes out on top. You can read the full review here and discuss it here.

    Snow!

Be happy you don't live in AUS, they are going to the opposite extreme. This past week they've dealt with 39C - 42C weather!

    Top 5 Wii Downfalls

I was primarily making a point here about setting up WiFi. I do not consider it "enjoyable" or more sensible to wave my arm in the air to type in a 63 character password whereas I could be at ease using the D-Pad. Again, differences of opinions. Glad that you enjoy it... I don't.

    Top 5 Wii Downfalls

I agree with you on a lot of points. This "cheap" factor is another one I have thought about. Even though the console costs $100 or more less than the next console, it's definitely a case of "you get what you pay for". Obviously, they could not charge the same as another console... they are not...

    Wii: Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam

That's what I mean... it doesn't matter what the graphics/sound are like. The 360/PS3/Wii all fall into the 7th generation of consoles, therefore next-gen. I am hoping the same thing. I was talking to a friend the other day... and he mentioned the fact that maybe since the Wii lacks in...

I do? That was actually a mistake regardless, I didn't notice it until you mentioned it.

    Top 10 Free Linux Games

Again, this is a top 10. The next revision will have more titles with less meat in order to make it not be 30 pages long.

    Top 10 Free Linux Games

It has NOTHING to do with Linux being free  I wanted to provide a selection of games anyone can go and grab without leaving their chair. A commercial games list will come later, in addition to a part two to this one.

    ASUS EAX1950PRO 256MB

If you are looking for a card around the $200 mark, then be sure to see the performance of the X1950PRO first! This particular card retails for less than the 7900GT in which it competes, but which takes the top spot? You can read the full review here and discuss it here.

    Top 5 Wii Downfalls

I was referring to eBay, and the fact if people wanted them "now". I understand the demand, that was my point. I do own a DS but never bothered, or tried to set it up before. I only own one game. Regardless, I still found the UI to be clunky and uninspired. As for the Online features...

I am not familiar with that card at all. You may want to Google for some reviews and see how it compares to the 7*** series. It could be that for $20 more, you may get a card twice as good. 256MB ram is not everything, especially for a card that costs $130... it may not even make a difference...

    Top 5 Wii Downfalls

Thanks for the constructive critism, you make some great points. The web browser feature may have me the most confused, since it's not bundled in to begin with. The browser has been known for months to be included with the Wii, but it's just not there. As far as I recall, even the Sega...

    Top 5 Wii Downfalls

Well, it's somewhat the same for my family. Everyone I know loves the included sport games... even I enjoy the bowling one. It's the only game that I found the motion control to be GOOD. That's the type of simple game where this type of control does well. That actually looks identical to the...
