You may not be missing out on much, really. I like the G11, but I can't use it. Those G keys really, really screw me up when I am just trying to get work done. I always hit them instead of the CTRL, ALT or TAB keys.

The G5 is a superb mouse... you made a good choice there. I have had a lot of problems with my G3, but Logitech is taking a look at them. The MX518 or G5 would be my first choice when it came to buying a new one though.

You have a bad habit of comparing things of completely different classes. Who in their right mind compares stereo speakers to a surround sound setup? Of COURSE it's going to be better. It costs 5 - 10x as much.
