    Seagate Barracuda 750GB ES

Seagate made quite a splash earlier this year with their 750GB hard drives. They have since released an ES version of the drive with a far higher reliability factor making them perfectly suitable for RAID and business applications. You can read the full review here and discuss it here!

    Logitech G7

Hah, I hear you. I used to use the back button to bring up the buy menu in CS: Source... completely easy. I still use my MX518 on the gaming PC though.. that design is a winner, along with the G5. I had the same problem with the MX1000 charger... glad I am not the only one ;-)

    Sabayon Linux 3.2

You said it... great way to get a Gentoo based system quick. If you don't like all of the apps or XGL, I doubt it will be very hard to uninstall it all. The key thing I enjoy about SL is the fact that it sets up all (or most) of your hardware for you. That's something that can take you a few...

    Logitech G7

"What happened was that if I left clicked on an icon on the desktop, it would just double click it, and other irritations that made the mouse pretty much useless." My mom had a similar problem with her MX 1000. She couldn't double-click, only single-click. "The battery swap is very easy and...

    Sabayon Linux 3.2

We took a look at Sabayon 3.0 a few months ago and were greatly impressed. The developers haven't taken a break since that time, and now 3.2 is upon us. We are diving in heads first to see what's new and what's been updated. You can read the full article here and discuss it here.

    Benchmarking High Scores

The 7950GT I had didn't like an overclocked mem clock either... I didn't go much beyond 775MHz. The core was great though, going up to 650MHz. Maybe you will have better luck with your core. Regardless, you have good scores at stock. Right in line with what I was getting.

    What the hell?

What do you mean? Nothing came from it... they closed and that's it, it seems. Sad still.

    ASUS Striker

$360 is nuts. I had no idea any board came close to $400, but that's close enough. I paid something like $320CAN for the P5WD2-E Premium, and to me that was plenty.

Whether or not you are an audiophile or pyrotechnic, there is no way you cannot appreciate this. :D

    ASUS Striker

All I have to say, is that this is one impressive looking board. But I have one question. Does anyone ever recall a motherboard that launched with a $400 SRP? Pricey!

    The future is NAND

Over the past few months, we've seen dozens of announcements about solid-state hard drives. PQI has already announced a 64GB flash drive (which coincidentally, is based on Samsung NAND), which ASUS, Fujitsu, SamsungSandisk have all announced products based on solid-state hard drives. Given the...

    Benchmarking High Scores

Brushed off is right. Lets get a move on!... ... Greg! Once I get my "final" benchmarking machine up, I will start submitting scores again. I haven't been doing much benchmarking lately except for stuff I need to review. I let this thread fail :(

    Your thoughts on Quad Core?

I agree with you b1lk1. Anyone notice that these things are going for WAY more than they were originally "intended"? How about $1499 at NewEgg? So much for being the same price as dual E6700's. Oddly enough, the chip is actually $300 cheaper on Canadian website NCIX.com. I have to stress.. we...

    Notebook storage :-\

Hey peeps, Am I the only one who's depressed over notebook storage? Toshiba recently released a 200GB drive, which is the largest in the industry. But the sad fact is, the thing is not even -that- much faster than a super fast USB thumb drive. I don't know about anyone else here, but I know...

    NEC Ships 25.5-inch Professional LCD

NEC is now shipping its latest professional LCD 2690WUXi display. The rather oddball 25.5-inch panel is targeted strictly at professionals, though the most hardcore of gamers may also be interested in its 7ms response time (that’s gray-to-gray, mind you, it’ll be 13ms with 7 white/black, 6...
