Damn, the 6800GT OC is hawt!

Of course. Should be getting a 1GB kit in the mail this week tho.

Damn, the 6800GT OC is hawt!

No idea really, it could be anything. I would think that if it would kill *one* stick of memory, that it may affect more than just that though. Computers up and running, using my 7800. Seems to be working fine also, but I won't really be able to benchmark anything until I get a working kit of...

Damn, the 6800GT OC is hawt!

It works, but I run into random problems. I am 95% sure all is fine, other than a dead Corsair stick. Not sure if it was the mobo that killed it though..

Ahh, thanks for clearing that up man.

Damn, the 6800GT OC is hawt!

Well, this is my second card from them. The first one I sent back because of overheating issues, but at least it didn't spark! They are obviously going to push the same card on me, but I do *not* want that model. I would take a 6800GS instead; I don't care if it's a downgrade.

    Geforce 7300 GS coming soon

It's odd how they would release both a 6500 and 7300GS when they both look to have the same goal. I can't wait to see what the X1900 will be like though.

Damn, the 6800GT OC is hawt!

This card is so hawt in fact, that it 'sploded! Check out this situation. I finally was getting around to put together my Intel rig, and everything went fairly smoothly. After fiddling around for a while trying to get the thing to boot, it finally happened! I boot up the machine and *SPARK...

    Wireless Network help..

Naw, this router is directly beside this PC. It was the first PC I tried setting up. It is using WEP encryption, but that's not the issue. Her computer will not even 'see' an available network.

    Windows Xp 64Bit

I just believe that x64 has the same thing that SP 2 has... that's causing it to not use the full 4GB. Especially since he sees 3GB no problem.. it's the same scenario of trying it with SP2.

Regardless of what kind of power it requires, your friends would crap themselves if they seen your PC with that thing hanging out.

Well, it could be just a show piece at Zalman too.

    Wireless Network help..

Yeah, so I'm a networking noob. In fact, I hate them which is why I need help! I just finished setting up my network, but I am confused by how the thing is supposed to work. Three computers connect to the router fine, but my moms computer doesn't. I *have* to plug her computer directly into...

    Windows Xp 64Bit

I could never get 4GB to work in x64 either. I believe x64 SP1 is equivelent to the SP2 for WinXP. If he has the option in his BIOS to enable the PCI MMIO memory hole, then that may be something he could try out.

It's hilarious that it requires SO much power. It's even more funny that a 1KW PSU couldn't even handle it.

    Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

You would need a USB receiver to grab the information. It wouldn't be hard to do, so I'm hoping they consider it.

    Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

What do you mean about noisy exactly? I have found it to be a little squeaky, but not really overly noisy. The 360 controller is fine in that regard, it's not noisy unless you really like to button mash. I played through the entire Tony Hawk American Wasteland with the D Pad without any issues...
