    Seagate 750GB Barracuda 7200.10

Seagate has introduced to us once again the largest consumer drive available, and we have it on our testbench. Surprisingly, not only does it have much more space than the previous 500GB model, it also proves to be much faster. Let's take a close look at the drive, and see just what...

    SiN Episodes: Emergence

There's another quote that she says to the affect of, "I said to kick ass, not lick ass." She says around 8 different things if you get down towards her ass. If you get in front of her down to her unmentionable, she will say different things. I think $20 was worth it really, especially if you...

    Corsair 2GB TWINX2048-4400PRO

Corsair once again wants the top spot in the DDR market, and they have it. The 4400PRO is the only 2GB kit available at these speeds, which is reason enough to check them out. Well, they prove very fast as we had hoped, despite the somewhat loose timings. Let's take a deeper look. After reading...

    SiN Episodes: Emergence

I agree with you completely. Sadly, the game reminded me a -lot- of Half-Life 2.. it's incredible. I still enjoyed the game for what it was, and played through it twice even. I am hoping that Ritual will listen to all the feedback they are receiving to make Episode 2 far better. Here's to hoping.

    SiN Episodes: Emergence

I actually had no idea that there were any subtitles. I didn't enable them, so would not have noticed that problem. Next time I play through, I will definitely enable them.

    Half-Life 2: 64-Bit - Reason to get excited?

So, SLi or not, the 64-Bit edition will give you lower FPS. Doesn't really seem like an even trade-off. I agree with you on the image quality bit: If it looked better, bring on the lower FPS, but it looks identical. Thanks for the benches.. very interesting.

    Who's going AM2?

I am _considering_ it, but I'm not positive yet whether I can afford it :D Some of the motherboards due to be released look very feature rich, especially with the nForce5 chipset. So, is anyone planning to go AM2? Waiting for Conroe instead? Both?

    SiN Episodes: Emergence

John Blade is back, and he's not alone. We check out the first part to this Episodic adventure, with Blade continuing his journey of defending Freeport City. Elexis is still evil, but at least JC and Jessica are by our side. Let's see if Emergence lives up to the original. After reading my...

    E3 2006

I think I was lucky to get my 360 no problem. I reserved it a week after they began offering pre-orders. I was precisely the 12th person to do so at this store. It was sad.. because even the manager of the store couldn't get a system on launch, because he waited too long to pre-order. Either...

    Wii likes the Opera?

In regards to our news posting, it looks like Wii will be using the Opera browser. I am all for this, but I find it odd. Nintendo always makes it will known that their systems are not out there to be an 'all-in-one' or do-all machine. They usually tout it as being a gamers game machine. The...
