    SuSE Linux 10.1

Yeah... it really does seem like it's going downhill and I can't say I am enjoying it. I -loved- SuSE 7 when it first came out, and up to 9.3, it was a great distro. Don't get me wrong, even 9.3 had a lot of problems but nothing to the extent that 10.0/10.1 does. I even installed SUSE...

Haha! We do have a lot of Texans here... wow.

Still kinda sounds like a service issue. Strange still :D

    Kingston HyperX 2GB PC2-8000

You want fast memory? Kingston has fast memory! Though not usually touted as the company to offer killer gaming memory, the HyperX PC2-8000 kit proves to be one of the fastest kits we've tested! You can read the full review here and discuss it here! :techgage:

Good hint that you have an instable overclock

I've been up to 2.85v on the DFI board :P Edit: Oh, and there is an even better way to get rid of that. Type "shutdown -a" in the run bar and it will cancel it :P

    NZXT Precise 650W

One of the photos of the insides show that it's a Topower. I was unable to find that exact model on their site though.

    Diskeeper 10

I am no defrag expert, but is it like that DIRECTLY after a fresh defrag? If so, I have no idea what to say, because that makes no sense. However, it may not be as bad as you think it is. This is also strange. "Would not work" means what though? A stop error? Or just would not open? Sounds...

Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5 Rev. 3

Been using them for around 4 or 5 months I believe... haven't had any issues with them. The bottom leaked a bit when I first got it, but a screwdriver took care of that. I like it overall, but I haven't had experience with others so I can't really compare. I do have a GPU block but never used...

Good hint that you have an instable overclock

This happened last week... was playing around with some Ballistix sticks, and I overdid the overclock. Windows functioned fine, but was a tad sluggish. I ran MemTest to stress test the modules, and had this happen :D It's nothing a "shutdown -a" wouldn't fix, but it's the first time that's...

    550MHz 4-4-3-4-13

I was playing around with the OCZ 7200 EPP a bit more, since I had the new DFI board to play around with. Here's what 2.65Vdimm can do: Yup, PC2-8800 speeds with better timings than what's found on PC2-6400 kits. Though there was a lot of voltage pumping, there is a cheap 120mm fan...

    X360: Madden 07

Madden is back for its 17th installment and we are promised the richest experience yet. This time around we have the addition of Lead Blocker control, hall of fame mode, run like the players and a more feature-rich franchise mode. You can read Gregs review here and discuss it here!

    NZXT Precise 650W

NZXT has impressed us quite a bit with their Lexa and Apollo cases, so we were looking forward to giving their entry into the PSU market a spin! It proves itself to be a supply worthy of your consideration, but is a wee bit overpriced. Read the review here and discuss it here!

    First Kentsfield Benchmarks

Toms is ahead of the game once again, and I have to say I am rather impressed with their results. First, you will obviously not see benefits in games. They are hardly taking advantage of Dual Core which has been out for a while, let alone something on the horizon. Compared to AMD though, some...

Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5 Rev. 3

I've never used it but it looks great. It's ugly, but I can't see why the performance would suffer. I use the Corsair Nautilus 500 on both my systems personally, but I am not sure which would be better. I'm no WC'ing guru either.

    Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB

Though there are larger drives available, they do not fit into everyones budget. Simply going from 500GB to 320GB cuts the price in half, which makes this almost a steal. We will compare with one of our recently reviewed 500GB drives and see how it stacks up. After reading the review here...

    DFI LanParty UT SLI-M2R/G

It would only cause a problem if the heatsink got VERY hot, which chances are it won't. The PCB resting on it won't do much, but it's still rather needless imo.

Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5 Rev. 3

Of course the offer is still valid :-P Greg didn't see this thread... since it was probably bumped down quickly due to another post.

    DFI LanParty UT SLI-M2R/G

Yes, the variable voltages are amazing... extreme tweaking ability. It's a true enthusiasts board... which only tells me it should be better capable of handling bad overclocks. ASUS seems to have mastered that... As for the chipset cooler... I was trying to point out the fact that the GPU sits...

    DFI LanParty UT SLI-M2R/G

First impressions: First off the BIOS is quite similar to the Ultra-D, but that's not to say there is no learning curve. In fact, there is quite a big one. Things are placed differently and far more in-depth. There is a LOT of tweaking potential here though, it's rather incredible. Especially...
