Internet Explorer is ridiculous... IE7 was supposed to be an improvement, but I just want to pull out my hair when I use it. I refuse to update it on fresh XP installs. That aside, Firefox does seem to be getting sluggish for me, but I have a feeling it's because I have carried over my profile...

It has nothing to do with drivers, because I've tested with three different NICs in four different computers and basically have the same problem. I have a new router here I will install tomorrow if I can find the time... I am hoping it will prove a tad more reliable.

I don't mean a "specific" application, I mean being able to make it so a certain application would use the same sound card each time. It's possible to do so, but I'm just not sure if it's possible in Windows. I don't feel like installing Vista to find out.
