    Thermaltake Eureka Aluminum Case

We've reviewed many Thermaltake cases in the past that are gamer suited, but as a change of pace we are going to take a look at the Eureka, a case designed for home server use. You can read the full review here and discuss it here.

    SAFARI 4 WINDOWS!

It doesn't surprise me that it's faster than Firefox... that browser has become too bloated, the exact opposite of just two years ago. The reason they don't release it for Linux, from what I can tell, is because Safari can utilize bonjour, which Windows already has thanks to iTunes. Since iTunes...

    Ultimate Mac Setup?

They should have called it something other than Core 2 Animation ;-) For the record though, this is the first I've heard of Core 2 Animation. I've only heard Steve and others refer to it as Core Animation. "In Leopard, not only can you have a virtual desktop, but you can have one that updates...

    Ultimate Mac Setup?

Core 2 Animation? I don't think I understand at all. What's Core Animation have to do with Core 2? As far as I know, Intel's Core 2 has nothing to do with this new Core Animation technology. Besides, there are more Core 2 CPU's in the PC world than the Mac world, so that's not much of an excuse...

    Ultimate Mac Setup?

What does Core Animation have to do with games? It's a new technology that enables cool things in the OS, it has nothing to do with the games themselves as far as I know. Desktop technologies are not going to suddenly make the games run. Both BF 2142 and NFS: Carbon emulate fine through Linux...

    Ultimate Mac Setup?

Haha, Windows on Power PC. Yes, the EA thing is big news. C&C 3, BF 2142, NFS: Carbon among others are coming to be Mac, which is a huge win for Apple fans. iD looks like they are amping up support as well. I still don't understand why EA couldn't bring those same games to Linux, but whatever.

Where do you get the appropriate drivers for the 8800GTX on a Mac Pro? Does it just use the FreeBSD driver?

    eVGA nForce 680i SLI

I have never dealt with either companies customer service, but I have continually heard bad things about ASUS. Primarily the fact that they are hard to "get through to", and difficult to see quick action. eVGA has a good thing going I think, I haven't heard many complaints about them.

    Ultimate Mac Setup?

Let's not forget that Apples won't run the top of the line graphics cards. So even though an Apple will run Windows, you can't expect to play games in it's high-resolution glory :) That said, it's sad that the new MacBook Pros have better GPUs than you can even get in the Mac Pro.

    Ultimate Mac Setup?

I think you need helps. I was going to call this the "Ultimate PC Setup" but then someone would call me out for not mentioning that they are all Macs. I need to get that LED binary clock though, it's pimp.

    Ultimate Mac Setup?

It's not an ultimate PC setup if everything is Mac-based. Hence, Ultimate Mac Setup. I agree though, the desk is great. Very stylish.

    Custom Laptops........

You can build a laptop, you just need to get ahold of a base. I believe ASUS sells "basic" laptops that you can customize. To me, it's a total waste of time though. It will only inconvenience you in trying to find all the appropriate parts and such, and making sure everything works together...

    eVGA nForce 680i SLI

eVGA has released numerous motherboards in the past two years, but we are going to take a look at their most recent top offering, the nForce 680i SLI. Coming from a company who knows how to cater to enthusiasts, will the board leave us impressed like their graphics cards do? You can read the...

ASUS board with no memory slots

Yeah exactly, this board is not for overclockers at all. It's meant for those who use their rig at stock. I am doubtful Qimonda would overclock very far anyway.

ASUS board with no memory slots

ASUS... are innovative and crazy at the same time. TweakTown reports on a motherboard that has built-in DDR3 modules. They are kept passively cooler with ASUS' usual usage of copper. http://www.tweaktown.com/computex2007/38/asus_goes_memory_slot_free/index.html Check out how much copper that...
