As stated before, these current cards are just a stop gap thing for Nvidia, sort of a waste of cash unless you need something right now. Just OC the poop out of a GTS (G92) and you'll have a 9800GTX.

There's alot of folks that aren't willing to take the chance on running a Xeon in their DT rigs as they think that they are totally different, when in fact they have the same processor ID and stepping, they are the same CPU's. The Xeon is just a higher binned part with a lower VID..............;)

They might beable to compete with the current gen CPU's with higher clocked Phenoms maybe. But unless they have some awesome hidden in their pants, they'll have one heck of a problem catching up to the Intel Nehalem when they ship later this year..................:eek: Just my opinion though.

Amps on the 12 volt rail is more important than overall PSU wattage.

My connection has been on and off for the past few days due to sever thunder storms, we've gotten something like 4" of rain in the past 24 hours. And as you all know, satellite doesn't work worth a crap in bad weather.

The fan is more than likely for the NB to help keep it cool as they run really warm from what I understand. As for the other question, the open forums isn't really the place to talk about bootleg/pirated software, you can get yourself and maybe the forums in some trouble that way.

$600 is a bit rich for my liking when you can get the same performance basicly out of 2 x 8800GT in SLi for around $400 complete out the door if you have a SLi MoBo................;) That is unless you happen to have a love for ATi which is still more expensive that 2 x 8800GT's............:)

Can't wait for the prices of DDR3 to drop a bit more, although they have dropped a fair amount in the past few months.
