    Steelpad QcK+

This pad got the 10/10 because it's an awesome pad and while it's a bit much for most folks, for the ones that need a pad this size you'd be hard pressed to beat it. If you don't ned a pad that size they offer the same pad in a medium and small size so those users that don't have room for the...

Which motherboard chipset do you like better?

Yeah I guess it will. Are you going Intel or AMD (since both chipsets exist for both platforms)? Single or dualcore? I can tell you from personal experience playing with Vince's rig that compared to mine (P4 2.4C at 3200 with 2 gigs of ram) that his X2 4800+ was like day and night. XP loaded...

    Silverstone Strider ST56F 560W PSU

I look at the fan rotation dials on a PSU as a "MTBF Dial" whereby as you're lowering the RPM of the fan you're also lowering the MTBF of the unit thereby insuring that it dies way sooner than if you'd left the fan alone...

Which motherboard chipset do you like better?

Well, the nForce 4 is a more mature platform and is currently the performance darling. There's also the small matter of what graphics chipset you plan to go with as well. You can do Crossfire on the nForce 4 but you can't do SLI on the ATI chipset (nor any other except an nVidia chipset) so if...

Thanks guys, if I can just make a certain review I'm trying to get going happen this will be the best B'day I've had since the one in 2003 when my wife walked out on me :) Nothing can beat that B'day but this'll be damned close!

    have a PSU Question

Personally If the 200 has a P4 plug on it I'd run it to the CPU because if you run everything other than the drives on the 230 you will be pushing it's weak little 12V rail way too hard. Remember it's only 30W higher than the 200 and that's divided up between all 3 rails so that's not even 2.5A...

    Where are you from?

I envy guys like you. In my lifetime I've moved well over 50 times (easily, probably closer to double that) and I just detest it. All I ever wanted to do was live in one place and be there until they laid me out in the backyard.

    Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000

Yes, the tracking is faster, the response time is faster and the resolution varies from somewhat highter (my MX 700 had 800DPI resolution compared to this one with 1000DPI) to insanely higher.

    Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000

The sad thing is that if the mouse featured a detent on the scrollwheel it would be great for gaming. The tracking is fast, smooth and precise and I did game with it but the scrollwheel cripples it because you can't sort through weapons with any accuracy. The keyboard would be okay if it just...
