    CrystalFontz CFA-635

I never asked to be honest, I assume it will be added in in the newer versions of Crystal Control 2 just like the user configurable screens.

    CrystalFontz CFA-635

I looked at that Silverstone one you put up in the Staff Forum and it's just a basic 2-line VFD display. No fan control. You should check out Matrix Orbital. They have a nice unit similar to the 635. Me, I'm used to CF so I wanted to review this one and I wasn't disapointed.

    When Buying a New PSU...

I'd like to direct you to this page. I'm an (internet) aquaintance of Jonny's and I know that the man knows what he's talking about. If you don't see your brand on the list ask me since I'm familiar with who makes what for whom and can tell you the brand you're looking for (Or find it ASAP)...

    Monster Rig.

I'm telling you man, running a Y will slow the water speed down through the rads due to the drop in velocity from splitting the flow in half (and if you'll use 3/4" Y's the resistance will be minimal at worst) so the water will spend nearly twice as long in the radiators

    Monster Rig.

I still think you'll get better temps if you run the rads on Y's ;)

    Monster Rig.

Pretty nice! Very clean and well executed.

    Monster Rig.

Those temps are nothing to sneeze at though. I'd be happy with that small of a rise above ambient.

    Monster Rig.

What're your temps like so far?

Is the only reason you mod to show off?

I mod so that my Dremel won't get rusty ;) Nah, honestly I mod so that I'm not looking at the same boring beige box that everyone else has. Plus it keeps my Dremel from rusting.

    Monster Rig.

Very sweet. I like that alloy bodied pump, too bad it's mixing metals. You might as well let me have it since I'm running a bi-metalic loop anyways ;) J/K BTW, I know who makes that pump but the name eludes me...

    Monster Rig.

Hey, sbrehm, (I can't get used to not calling you BioHazard, man) are you going to run 2 dedicated loops with 2 pumps or Y the output from the pump and run to the rads then the aforementioned blocks?

Most Expensive Piece of Hardware You Own?

Well, since he was talking about monitors and at the time he bought his monitor Sony still offered the only shadowmask monitor tubes in the business. The Trinitron monitors are the best CRT monitors made. You can buy other flat screen CRTs but they'll look like crap compared to a Trinitron.

Most Expensive Piece of Hardware You Own?

I hate to tell you this but Sony is the only company that made Trinitron tubes. You could buy another brand of monitor with a Trinitron tube but you know what? Sony made it.

Most Expensive Piece of Hardware You Own?

My most expensive piece of hardware was my 6800NU at $325 with my mobo being a close second at $300. The ram I bought for this rig to begin with was $320 and talk about crap! Ugh it was terrible. Actually I've got $550 in my vid card since I got it in exchange for my 5900U that I bought a few...

Curious why do people need a laptop?

I'd like to have a laptop for taking to peoples homes while working on their PCs. It would make it un-necessary to bring their PC here to work on in the advent of theirs not having 'net connection since the laptop could connect to the 'net at their home and burn any files I didn't have stored on...

    A Typical Government Computer Manager

He's a typical government bureaucrat. He was likely voted into office and will remain there until a slicker version of himself comes along and unseats him or he dies. Whichever comes first.

    NaturalPoint TrackIR 4:PRO

Thank you for the kind words sir. :) I enjoy the TrackIR and I think it's fun as hell but right now it's got so little support I couldn't recommend it to someone without knowing that person has an innate love for a sim of some sort or another. I just hope that it gets more support soon or at...
