Auzen will be creating their own drivers with DTS NEO PC and all the other stuff the X-Meridian has, it's just going to take time. I guess they decided to move to market now rather than sit on their investment which makes sense. As to the bloatware... there is an option to just install the drivers.

With just 100,000 to 300,000 read/write cycles in it's lifetime that's just too short a span for my taste as that's not really that many especially if you factor in reads/writes to/from the swap file.

I wonder why they set the camera to only take pics every hour. I'd have went with every 15 minutes so I'd have got a good ten or more plus maybe one or two from the descent.

Actually it'd be the grey market. The black market is for goods of an illicit nature such as drugs, guns or even flesh but stuff like chips or things of that nature (as long as it's not stolen) is grey market because there's still some doubt as to the legality of it. It's still quasi legal.
