    Anyone using Windows 7?

Nice to hear that this may be a decent release. I refuse to be a beta tester myself though. Doubt I will switch from Vista as well unless I can just upgrade my current install of Vista.

    HAF mod Water Cooling

That's why I used 7/16" ID tubing. I had to dip the ends into hot water before they would slide onto the fittings and then they shrink fit. Zip ties are all I need after that. I don't agree with guys not using any sort of mechanical locks though, that is just plain silly.

    HAF mod Water Cooling

Y's or T's add to flow resistance and should be avoided at all costs. There is no reason to not go from the CPU to the Northbridge since you will not see any degradation of performance doing that. I go from my CPU to my GPU and my GPU still stays super cool. Y's just give you more areas for...

    HAF mod Water Cooling

I have never noticed any difference in temps by putting the reservoir before or after the pump. In loops I ran with no reservoir I got the same performance as well. I do always put the CPU before the GPU since the CPU will create more heat. Anyway you look at it you are talking 1-2C max. I...

I am SICK and TIRED of Facebook

I also find facebook and all similar sites repulsive. The art of actually seeing people face to face is dying. I also do not even want ex-girlfriends and others that are in my past to have such a convenient way to track me down and irritate me. These sites offer nothing useful to me and as...

    HAF mod Start

I've never bothered with anything but plain water and a dash of good ole automotive anti-freeze. Far too much emphasis placed on distilled water and as long as you don't mix metals in the loop corrosion ain't gonna happen.

    Intel Core i7 Performance Preview

That's why you need a dual core instead of a Quad. My entire system pulls 290W full 3D load from the wall. (Not including the LCD or speakers though).

    HAF mod Start

Actually, I would have no problem at all getting a 3X120mm mounted inside the top of the case. In fact, they even ventilated that hump to some degree so it would still allow airflow through.

    Cooling an OC'd E8400@ 4.0GHz

It may make a difference depending on the game but I doubt you'd see a big jump in performance anywhere just by overclocking your system.

    HAF mod Start

Looking forward to the results. My HAF swallowed up my water loop with lots of room to spare: I was too lazy to paint mine though, lol.

    Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

Live For Speeds control setup is not user friendly at all. You need to keep messing with the settings until you find the magic combination that will allow you to do what you want.

    Merry Christmas!

Since you bunch of scrooges haven't started a Merry Christmas thread, I figured I would. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Want Scientology Training? Get a Job at Diskeeper!

Knowing this will now prevent me from using their products since scientology is brainwashing at its finest. Too bad, I really liked diskkeeper but I am most definitely never using it again.

Sapphire's Atomic HD 4870 X2 Water-Cools both GPU and CPU

I just wish I had the $$$ to get one and play with it........

Sapphire's Atomic HD 4870 X2 Water-Cools both GPU and CPU

If that works well that is one hell of a deal. The CPU block has the pump so it makes perfect sense to incorporate it that way. Very innovative.

Windows XP - The OS that Just Won't Die

If they can't steal it, they won't use it as well. I would say that most XP users don't want to spend the money for Vista, although I don't see any compelling reasons to do so. If you already own XP and your PC is doing everything you need, there is no logical reason to switch. Anyone...

    Nothing's working???

I agree with Kougar. If it is indeed the video card, using a PCI card to attempt to flash it is the only option short of RMA. I also want to add that it is never a good idea to flash the bios of anything unless there are identifiable problems with the current bios it is running.

School Teacher has Linux ALL Wrong

I'd expel them for using OSX, but maybe just force them to write "I will only worship windows in school" 50 times on the blackboard for using Linux.........

OCZ Releases Throttle eSATA-based Thumb Drive

If all it does is make E-Sata ports on the fronts of our cases relevant then it serves a good purpose considering nothing else has done it yet with any noticeable success.

    Q6600 vs. E8400

If you already have a Q6600 it makes no logical sense at all to get a E8400. That is not an upgrade by any standards.
