    NZXT Zero 2 Full-Tower

Just a little follow up. Adding a single 120mm quiet fan to the side panel to blow on the video card dramatically dropped my load temperatures to only 62C on the GPU as well as taking another couple degrees off the CPU. I suggest anyone buying this case do the same as you will not regret it!

    Asus Xonar Soundcard Drivers!

Luckily ASUS does not monitor their forum. It is a peer to peer forum. I'll have to check this out. My only question is does updating to a newer driver accomplish anything?

    NZXT Zero 2 Full-Tower

I didn't need to mention this because it is untrue. There is 11" of space for a video card. Considering the HD4870 is roughly 9 1/2" you have plenty of space for an ATI card. The GTX280 is about 1" longer but considering the power connectors are located on the topside of the card and not on...

ASUS' Xonar Essense STX Designed for High-End Headphone Users

I have to agree. While I am not experiencing any current issues with my Xonar, I am pissed I spent $200 on a sound card that is not being supported much.

    HAF mod Start

Technically no, you are wrong. Reservoirs are made of plastic. They are all well known and documented to crack. Some crack faster than others. They have barbed fittings that are plastic and easy to crack. Their holes can be easily stripped as well. You have infinitely more of a chance of a...

    HAF mod Start

The main reason I do not like them is they are prone to leakage. With a T-line, you can visually tack the water level as well. It is truly down to personal preference, but my preference is to keep the chances of leaks down to the absolute minimum. On that 5.25bay reservoir, in the long run...

    HAF mod Start

I put some chrome metal barbs on my Apogee. I just didn't have any more for the res. I never wanted the res anyways so now I have the t-line I prefer.

    HAF mod Start

Good idea. I thought this stupid res was sealed until it leaked. I have to admit I hastily added another 120MM rad to the bottom of my case and I probably am responsible for loosening the barb, but I hate those damn plastic barbs because they are so easy to strip. On the plus side I bought a...

    HAF mod Start

All I can say is make sure you watch that res for leaks. I woke up this morning and hit my power button and my hard drives clicked so loudly I was sure one had dies out of the blue. As I was pulling them out I noticed they were both wet!!! My res was located over the hard drive cage and one...

    Is Microsoft Rushing Windows 7?

You will never see an OS that can run safely without a firewall and AV because of human nature and the need for a certain amount of people to make life miserable for anyone they can. I call this an impossible task. I also said that Microsoft is doing exactly what you said. They know the Vista...

    Is Microsoft Rushing Windows 7?

That's my point really. XP was around long enough for hardware to catch up while Vista never had a chance really. I am not defending Vista as much as it sounds like. What I am trying to state is this one fact. If XP had been replaced within the first 2 years it would easily have been a...

    Is Microsoft Rushing Windows 7?

Sorry to everyone that thinks THEY are right as well. XP was a steamy pile of garbage for years. It was the end of Microsoft according to almost everyone for the first 2 years. Then they finally fixed it by SP2. Took them YEARS to make XP workable. I call people salivating over Windows 7...

    Is Microsoft Rushing Windows 7?

Comparing Vista to ME on any level is stupid. ME was complete garbage that was based on 98 and was nearly unusable. Vista is leaps ahead of XP and has nothign to do with XP. Windows 7 SHOULD be a major service pack for Vista but M$ is greedy and figures they can sucker people into buying it...

Western Digital Launches World's First 2TB Hard Drives

I was hoping the sarcasm would have shown through better since I agree that Seagate is far from down and out. BUT, this is some really good timing on WD's part to get these 2TB drives out for all the people wrongly ditching their Seagates.

    Anyone using Windows 7?

Again, I have no issues with responsiveness or speed in Vista here. Besides that, Windows 7 is based on Vista and most likely could be used to make a good upgrade install for Vista. I have 80+ processes running at any given time and programs still respond nearly instantaneously to my mouse clicks.
