Why Ad-Blocking Hurts the Sites You Love

I'm not sure the analogy of eating at a restaurant has been properly applied. I do agree that if 40% of the people did not pay their bills it would bankrupt the restaurant. But, how many people actually know what it takes to run a restaurant and what goes on behind the scenes. The same is true...

Is NVIDIA's GF100 Broken and Unfixable?

If the GTX480 is under $600 then AMD will price adjust where needed. If not then AMD will not do it. In fact, unless it is under $450, I doubt we'll see any real pricing movements on AMD's part.

More Proof that Steam is Coming to Mac OS X

Man this is something else. If Steam can get this done AND get games properly ported to OSX then we can only hope they will make the final push to Linux. I, for one, would instantly jump to Linux is Steam and it's games would run natively on Linux. Just makes you wonder how much Microsoft is...

Fake Intel i7's going about BE CAREFUL!

So you agree then that whoever picked and shipped these orders for Newegg has less intelligence than a 5th grader?

Fake Intel i7's going about BE CAREFUL!

It sucks for their customers, but I have to laugh at the quality control of the people at the Egg since they not only received and accepted them, their order pickers and shippers never noticed. I would dare say the weight is quite off too since there is no slug of aluminum in the box.

Is NVIDIA's GF100 Broken and Unfixable?

Only if you are buying it just because it is an Nvidia card and you would never buy an ATI card. I for one am an ATI fanboy and wouldn't run anything from team green unless it was given to me. My desktop bleeds red while my laptop bleeds green. I had no real choice in the laptop GPU but in...

Is NVIDIA's GF100 Broken and Unfixable?

I still stand by my statement that no matter what, these cards will sell like hotcakes. We are also still dealing with pure speculation on all counts. If the rumors are ALL true it still won't make even the smallest dent in their armor. The fanboy army (we all belong to one, lol) will keep...

Is "Unlimited" Internet Ever Truly Unlimited?

Inside Canada we will never see truly unlimited internet. They can't stand giving us a bargain here. As the infrastructure decays and the lack of business investment in upgrades and future tech (In North America atleast) we will never see it and it will only get worse.

    Do you suck at cooking?

I consider myself a great cook and I still like reading articles like this because you can always pick up a new tip here and there that will just add to the eating experience. Anyone that feels they need tips should definitely read that, alot of them are not a common sense as they should be.

NVIDIA's Optimus Looks to Gain Steam, Support from Apple

One very important thing to factor in is that people are really expecting ALOT from notebooks nowadays and they are really pushing the envelope with design. There was a time noone would expect a sub $2K notebook to game and now there are $800 models that do quite well. Now we are starting to...

Is NVIDIA's GF100 Broken and Unfixable?

Well, it is almost universally accepted that this initial release date is a paper launch. Even the few cards that will be available will be snapped up instantly. If the rumors of limited production runs are true then all stock will last hours on the shelves if that during the initial months of...

    NZXT Hades Crafted Series Mid-Tower

It's a fine line between style and function. Also, I feel it is easier for companies lime Cooler Master to sell their cases at a lower cost since they are a larger company and they know they will get more sales. Again, I am a very big fan of NZXT's work. They have released the best budget...

    NZXT Hades Crafted Series Mid-Tower

Understandable, yes. BUT, this chassis has the closest possible placement of the motherboard to the top fans I have yet come across. This, in my mind, is something that needs to be addressed as it causes alot of issues with heatsinks. Same goes with that side panel fan. All they really need...

Just Cause 2 won't support XP

I cannot help but add it is time for XP to fade away as even Vista is better in my opinion at this point because the ONLY reason Microsoft is even supporting XP at all is the corporate environment. I guarantee that MS does not even want to continue retail home user support on XP as they can...

Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel

I'm not sure of the exact dimension, but it will be fine with that thickness and I am pretty sure it will take up to a 2" or so.

NVIDIA's Optimus Looks to Gain Steam, Support from Apple

I really like this technology. My ASUS UL80VT doers have switching graphics between the X4500 and the G210M and it is relatively seamless, BUT, I have to do the switching. No big deal to me, but having the software do it AND having the Nvidia driver software doing it is quite a nice thing. I...

Windows 7 Receiving Revamped Activation Software

What I find odd is that I not only flashed my notebooks bios recently, but I also have switchable grpahics so I boot up with either X4500 or G210M graphics and have yet to have an issue. Could be that I am OEM and retail may be more strict, but this seems so damn random. I know that I...
