    Razer Lycosa

Razer's new Lycosa Keyboard looks fantastic. But there's one thing that sets me off... "Keytop with non-slip rubber finish With its non-slip rubber finish, the Razer Lycosa offers optimum tactile comfort and makes slipping up in the heat of action a thing of the past" Does that mean it's the...

Overclocking the 8600M GT - Results

Well, it's about a 20% performance increase. It's not bad, but it's no record. One guy had his running at 660/850 or something, scored 5100 in 3dmark06. I can't check my 3DMark from class, online results only, and it's blocked.

I'm in Canada, accross border shipping. I'm basically screwed if there are dead pixels. :P. And that's a mail in rebate.

    FutureShop of Horrors.

That's a bit rude :P. On the other hand, Future Shop employees are known for avoiding customers and treating them fairly rudely anyway. Futureshop had the Samsung 226BW on for 299$, -Student Discount, 270$. Nobody online is beating that at the moment, not that I could find anyway :).

    Soccer and guns.

Sorry, as an avid video gamer myself, I have to admit. Video games being an olympic sport would be a disgrace, and what's sad, is there are actually people who believe it has a place there.

    FutureShop of Horrors.

What do I think of it? If you're going to order online, use a site that's worth ordering from (NCIX, Newegg)... Honestly.. And while this one usually just applies to my own paranoia, NO open box items, ever. It was returned for a reason, usually a product fault :P.

    Crysis Single Player Demo

The hell was I on when I made that post, I wasn't running 1600x1200, I was running 1680x1050. All settings on high (XP Very high ini tweak) EXCEPT SHADOWS. Shadows stayed on medium, since, well, there's really no visual difference.

    ASUS G2 initial impressions

There are two versions of the G1S. I run the G1S-A1 (15.4" 1680x1050) now, but there is also a G1S-A2 17" version. Personally I wouldn't go for a 17" notebook, but my interests are mostly in gaming anyway.

    Crysis Single Player Demo

Runs pretty well here, similar performance to MakubeX, but I'm in the 25FPS area. Sure does look gorgeous though, editor is a good bit of fun too. My Specs; AMD 4200+X2-939 2GB DDR-400 Asus A8N-E EVGA 8800GTX 2xSeagate Barricuda 250gb Time to put that in my sig..

    FutureShop of Horrors.

I'll admit I bought my Samsung 226BW there, for the simple reason that I don't like shipping monitors from NCIX (it's a long way to go if it's got a dead pixel), and they had it on for 299$ (270$ since I had a student discount card). I also sometimes pick up games there on release day since...

    Nvidia's 8800GT Released

So the 8800GT released the other day, and.. well, most if not all benches speak for themselves. The general margin seems to be 85% of the GTX's performance. SKYMTL's review of the 8800GT Superclocked from EVGA Not only is the card a hundred dollars less than the 8800GTS-320, it beats the...
