Benchmarking High Scores

It won't OC at all. I've been trying all day and anything above default settings for either the CPU or the ram and it either BSOD's or it hard locks.

Oh well, it's fast as hell at default settings as it is.

No, all the other guys surrounding me are running P4's at a minimum of 3.4ghz. I'd say that mine at 3.2 is actually doing pretty well all things considered.

SillySider and i are trading back and forth for #1 in '06 for Socket A/6800nu.

My best so far, after a total of two runs is 2339.

I'll see if i can get the link up here in a bit. I've got some more catching up to do first though.

Disabled HT and gained 150+ in the CPU score but for some reason I had to roll the core back to 385Mhz from 390...

In short the score is 2175 now.

^Nice, you got me beat on all the cpu tests, but i haven't overclocked that yet.

That's pretty weird that no HT helped you though.

Not really, I noticed a trend on the P4's that the scores with no HT tended to be higher CPU wise and the scores with HT were lower. Now the 6XX series are the exception to this, they have the massive L2 cache though so that might have something to do with it.

Aquamark and 3dMark01 scores @2.7. Dropped the Htt multiplier to 4x, 900Mhz effective.

<3 Amd lol. I've got the 7800GT at 495/1250. I think I can improve those scores once I get the sata hd. I'm running on a WD Caviar 80G at Ata-100. Will be stepping up to Sata shortly.

Stock - FX57 with Dual 7800GTX 512's = 7,546
Stock - 4800 X2 7800GTX 256 = 6,480
Stock - 4400 X2 7800GT 256 = 4,787
Stock - FX55 7800GT's 256's = 5,385
Stock - A64 3700+ 7800GT = 3,145
Stock - A64 4000+ 6800GT = 2,810
Stock - A64 3000+ 6800Ultra = 2,720
