64-Bit Windows

AMD was quick to advertise the 64 bit support on their chip, and make millions of profit off it. Alot of people did this too. They were fast to grab the AMD when they announced 64 bit.

    Best Browser

He speaks the truth. Microsoft itself will post page long explanations about a single bug in IE. Imagine how many pages it would take to explain thousands of bugs?

Anybody else use only the onboard audio?

In the past, I've tryed both an internal sound card and motherboard audio, and I never noticed a difference in speed between the two ;)

Suggestions? Best software for Running Slow

A lot of people complain about Norton Antivirus, but I been using it apparently glitch-free..... No crashes or lockups or problems here.

    64-Bit Windows

Not enough available 64 bit drivers for the hardware I use. Therefore I never bothered with the 64 bit version of Windows. Whats the point, if there aren't enough drivers for it?

    Gigabyte I-RAM Storage Device

Businesses who run million-dollar servers might use it. One thousand dollars would be a drop in a bucket to such corporations.

If Microsoft was Open Source, would it have LESS bugs?

Unfortunately the source is wrong in this case. I remember StarOffice. StarOffice came out before OpenOffice, thus it can't be the commercialized version of it, if it came out before it! Somebody got things backwards on that wikipedia page.

Voltage you run, all the time?

I run my AMD at 1.5 volts, and this is 24 hours / 7 days a week. I doubt it will ever burn out.

    Monster Rig.

Better to be safe then sorry. I rather be a tiny bit more careful now and save the money I would of put out later replacing my memory.

Which motherboard chipset do you like better?

I also think the NF4 is the best available. I would not touch the ATI chipset with a ten foot stick. Only reason ATI came out with a chipset was to try to copy Nvidia.

    Next Best Game?

I like Rise of Nations. The depth to the game was fun, despite the bad graphics.

How much is too much for a video card?

I totally agree. Would be worth spending $500 for a graphics card that would last 4 years and STILL be able to play all the newest games at the highest frame rates after 4 years. However, what are the odds of that happening? With the rapid development of new graphic cards, the current...

    Monster Rig.

Is water cooling worth the trouble? Usually with a very nice air heatsink, you can overclock to about the same as water cooling, and you don't need to worry about ever having to maintenance it after installation. Unlike water cooling.

    decent and cheap headphones?

Logitech has some affordable gaming headphones. I would not discount them when shopping for cheap and good quality headphones.

    Edler Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Running any game at minimum requirements is as slow as moasses (did I spell that word right?) They should rename minimum requirements to instead "insanely slow speed requirements". I never even think about buying a game, if I only have minimum requirements or slightly better.

Corsair Unveils the World’s Fastest Production DDR2 and DDR1 RAM

DDR2 is not enough of a performance boost, neither is PCI express. They support the newest technologies because if they did not then people would be led into switching to their competition. The +1% improvement is really not worth it.

    Most Under-rated Games

Wizardy 8 - They spent 7 years making this game. It was released at around the same time as other popular games like Morrowind, so it did not sell as many copies. It was (and still is) the best roleplaying game of all time, and it is highly underrated.
