    Holiday Hardware Buyers Guide

I don't consider 10,000RPM drives to be "Ultimate" in any sense, simply because their storage capabilty is serously lacking. $300 for 150GB cannot be considered ultimate by anyone, regardless of whether the drive is a little faster or not. As mentioned in the article, Seagate claims that the...

"Better" didn't follow the scheme of things =) AKA: I wasn't going to create a new color code for it.

    ASUS PW201 20" LCD

Yes, but you have a plasma. The sound SHOULD be good on it, because 99.5% of the people who own one will use that sound. This monitor however is an exception. Many people have a separate set of speakers, so it's basically an optional thing. Same with my LCD TV... it sounds superb. Not as good...

    ASUS PW201 20" LCD

Regarding PIP, I can see how it would be completely useful for many people. The fact is though, the menu options on this screen is so clunky, I was aggrevated even trying to get to the PIP options. If there was a remote control included, it would have been a lot less painful. "Some of the...

    Playstation 3..... Anyone excited?

One plus to PS3: Since the console uses a 2.5" hard drive, it's easily upgradable by anyone. The funny thing is, Sony allows it and even encourages it. So if the 20GB or 60GB is too small for you, you can just buy a 100GB or 200GB Toshiba for $150 and $240 respectively. Sounds like a winner .

    ASUS PW201 20" LCD

If you are in the market for a modestly sized widescreen computer monitor, then ASUS has you covered. It's hard to denote the PW201 as a "computer" monitor though, as it's fully capable of handling your game consoles and cable TV. The functionality doesn't end there though. You can read the...

    Computer scares?

Hmm, I don't think I've had many scares. Usually when I thought something went wrong, it did.

    Playstation 3..... Anyone excited?

" Xbo360 Premium + HDDVD adapter =$600 US PS3 Premium (that is a more powerful machine, with built in HDdvd and bluray) = $600 US" Well the thing is... the HD-DVD is not required by the Xbox, while it is for the PS3. It's not like BluRay or HD-DVD movies have exactly caught on yet, so what's...

    ASUS Lamborghini VX1

No I didn't buy it... it was a review sample. "Also, I can't help but ponder how Lamborghini would allow the laptop to be sold with it's name on it and not be the uberest thing on your lap." The thing is... it has 2GB of ram, and one of the fastest mobile CPUs going right now. In that regard...

    Playstation 3..... Anyone excited?

I'd say screw PS3 right now... it's just such a sketchy console. Sony has not exactly done anything to encourage anyone to run out any buy one. It seems every other day there is some random problem. Them being smarmy bastards towards Nintendo and Microsoft doesn't exactly make me want to jump...

Square Enix wants a three-way race

PC gaming is only cheaper than consoles if you steal the software you are playing. To me, both consoles and PC gaming is great. Need for Speed, for instance, I'd much rather play on a console. Big tv, great controller... it's great experience. Really, neither the PC nor consoles will be...
