    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 SLI-Ready Edition

Yeah, the FSB seems to be the problem for some reason. I've looked at other reviews, and one even had it reach 475MHz, so it's definitely strange. Have you cranked all of the voltages up all the way (non-CPU-wise) to see if that had any effect? If you are worried about anything overheating, you...

    Steam backup issues

Backing up games is most useful for those who redo their computers often... like me. I install a fresh version of Windows normally every time I have to work on a review that requires performance reports, so downloading the games each time for benchmarking is a no go. The backups are perfect...

    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 SLI-Ready Edition

Those last settings don't really make any sense.. the ram shouldn't be able to run faster than the FSB MHz, at any time. Maybe we should get back to basics. If you set everything back to auto, what settings does it set for you? You could check with CPU-z or some other CPUID application. Maybe...

    Logitech G9 in the wild?

That fact went right over my head when I looked at the pictures.

    Logitech G9 in the wild?

Nothing says that this is a true leak or not, because the styling of this supposed G9 is such a stark contrast to Logitech's proven design, it makes you wonder what they were thinking. If real though, it's going to be interesting to see how it takes off. Besides, where in the world is the G8...

    Steam backup issues

Steam is a great platform, but riddled with glitches and bugs, one being that when you create backups of your favorite games to restore later, there is a good chance that it will not output the file required to restore the backup later. For those unaware, when you use Steam, you have the...

    Q6600 price drop

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115017 $299 at NewEgg. That would be the equivelent of $315CAN, or around there... so essentially NewEgg charges $25 more for the CPU than NCIX does.

Why do fancy fan controllers only control 4 fans?!

Can you even hear yourself think? 8 fans is hard core. I do agree though, fan controllers (especially expensive ones) should have the capability to handle more than four fans. I could think of many instances where this would prove useful.

    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 SLI-Ready Edition

" 400MHz at 4-4-3-12 2T with 2.1V - POST, Windows OK " I'd run that setting again, and then download MemTest for Windows, run two instances at 850MB per. This is just to make sure that your memory is functioning properly. As for the E6600, 3.6GHz should be easily possible, but I'm not sure how...

    Q6600 price drop

The QX6850 is $1,179: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=25345&promoid=1042 As for the Q6600 at $289... it's incredible. I paid $377.85 (before taxes) for an E6600 this past February.

    Project: Deuce

I am so looking forward to watching this come together... great color scheme and theme plans! With two of everything, this thing is going to be a monster, especially with the water cooling. Are you going to use blue-colored coolant, or does purple coolant exist?

Thirteen OS X Widgets You Should Be Using

When I said "no developer", I didn't literally mean no developer. Of course there are going to be a few developers who don't mind. I need to remember to be dead serious whenever I post, knowing you are around to dissect everything.

    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 SLI-Ready Edition

3.4-3.6GHz might be a little hopeful for an air cooler. I am not sure if I've ever pushed my E6600 there on water, let alone air. I could be wrong though. You were running 400x6 though and it proved unstable.. I'd worry about making that stable first and see what happens. In addition to what I...

    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 SLI-Ready Edition

I understand you now. I didn't realize you were using a 400FSB, which in that case, you are absolutely correct. However at that point, your instability is likely due to the lack of FSB voltage and nothing else. I'd bump up the Northbridge and Southbridge voltage, and try those settings again...

    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 SLI-Ready Edition

By looking at your first two results, I would definitely keep the tRAS at 12 or higher. tRAS makes virtually no difference in performance anyway. The last setting confuses me though... you said multi was at 6, but that would be 266 * 6= 1.6GHz. I took a look at some BIOS shots from another...

    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 SLI-Ready Edition

I am not sure what motherboard you have, but 450FSB shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just change your multiplier to 7, crank the voltage to 1.350v or 1.375v and see if it's stable. That would be 3.15GHz, and the Tuniq is a huge cooler so I assume it can handle thing minute increase in...

    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 SLI-Ready Edition

    From my review: 400MHz (DDR2-800), 1.9v, 4-4-4-12-13 450MHz (DDR2-900), 2.1v, 4-4-3-12-13 500MHz (DDR2-1000), 2.1v, 4-4-4-12-13 533MHz (DDR2-1066), 2.3v, 4-4-4-12-13 575MHz (DDR2-1150), 2.4v, 5-5-5-18-13 600MHz (DDR2-1200), 2.4v, 5-5-5-18-13For 1:1, I'd try for 450MHz.

Thirteen OS X Widgets You Should Be Using

You said you can drag them around, I assumed you meant within the toolbar since you made no mention of the desktop. Trolling? I am speaking from facts. When companies like Dell decide to go against Microsoft and continue selling XP, I am pretty sure that I am not the only one who feels that way...

    Ever feel dirty?

I help people if I deem it necessary. If they don't listen to my advice, I leave. eg: Those who still use IE even after I stress that Firefox is more secure/safe.
