Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 - The 45nm Era Begins

Overclocking was left out due to time constraints (not Intel's fault). Merlin: I agree that the QX9650 might not look that impressive, but where video encoding is concerned, it's incredible. I believe that the dual-core offerings will prove even more impressive once released, $ for $.

Serj Tankian - "Saving Us" music video

Got the album earlier this week... very solid. If you like SoaD, you will likely be very pleased with a purchase of Serj's album. There is only one song I am not particularly crazy over, but the rest of it is amazing.

Is this a reason for concern?

Well I plugged in another identical drive and it had a different error. The Reallocated Sector Count was red on that one. Seagate told me to run SeaTools ( I think that's what it is called ) and zero the drive and see if that fixes things. I won't be able to until the new week, but I am curious...

Is this a reason for concern?

Maybe a hard-drive expert can tell me whether or not this is a problem or not. Nothing is on the drive... just using it for testing. Every time I boot into Vista, it nags me to backup the drive and replace it. Thanks!

    Encoding gone horribly wrong?

It was just a bad setting on one of the applications I was using... not sure what it was. I needed to output a DVD to MPG for a benchmark in VirtualDub, but no application I found would export an MPG that would import.

Logitech released a revised G5 mouse earlier this year, and now have given attention to their most popular gaming keyboard, the G15. Updates were made for the sake of size, so a few features have been modified to reflect that. In the end though, it still proves to be an exceptional offering...

I never did know about that infinite Elixir trick, but I'll have to check it out next time I give the game a go. I agree about the Tree of Life though... excellent. The entire game was well done... the world gave a lot to the imagination and the monsters were ugly and cool at the same time...

Just days ago, popular UK TV torrent tracking site, TV-Links.co.uk was shut down, with the owner arrested. Now, the same scenario has occurred with Oink.cd (previously Oink.me.uk), a site with over...
