    Stompfest LAN 2008

Bah, I need to get some gaming in so bad.. I wish I were able to attend! The last time I played computer games was at the AsylumLan in November... how sad is that??

Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote

Harmony constantly updates their databases, so I'd be surprised if that brand was not supported, despite being rare. I'll get in touch with Logitech to find an answer for that as well... I am not sure if they have some online public database or not.

    TRENDnet TEW-631BRP Wireless N Router

Looking to move up to Draft N wireless but don't want to spend a fortune? TRENDnet has a $70 solution for you, in the form of the TEW-631BRP. Despite it's budget price and bright blue hue, the router turns out to be a great offering. You can read Greg's full review here and discuss it here!

Romeo Dev, the world's smallest bodybuilder

At first, I'd dismiss this as fake, but it's being posted by numerous credible news sources, including the UK Guardian: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/02/12/wromeo112.xml Freaking cool. He's a good inspiration... overlook your physical faults and just continue on...

    Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000

I'll nudge K towards this thread and maybe she can help you. I've never had keys so hard that I've wanted to tear up though... that's pretty hardcore.

    Samsung 275T 27-inch Wide-Screen

Hmm... that's very interesting. I'll have to give that program a download with the next monitor I test. I also was considering purchasing a Spyder in the past, but if there is a piece of software that can do almost as good of a job, it would be worth taking a look at. I just have to wonder how...

Firefox 3 Beta 3 Shows Major Improvement, Near-Ready for Release

From our front-page news: I admit it. Whenever I see a new "Beta" for an application, I don't pay much attention. This is especially true with Mozilla's Firefox, since I now that even if I wanted to test it out, none of my extensions would work. But, my poor attitude aside, Beta 3 for Firefox...

Walt Mossberg Fondles Lenovo's ThinkPad X300

From our front-page news: I am not normally interested in small notebooks, but Lenovo's upcoming X300 has definitely caught my eye. Like the MacBook AIR, it includes a small frame - built for road warriors who don't want to lug a heavy notebook around. Battery-life is also improved as a result...

    Red Alert 3 Announced!

From our front-page news: Whew, it seems that rumors of weeks past have been proven absolutely true. In the upcoming issue of PC Gamer (April), Red Alert 3 is announced and I suppose there will be a slew of screenshots as well. I for one, cannot wait. I was a huge fan of the first two and hope...

eBay Sellers Upset at New Rates

It IS expensive to use, and yes that's probably the reason. However, Google has their Checkout service which is similar, so something like that is already in place. Sure, it needs to prove itself, but I'm quite certain that if people could sell on "Google-bay" for half of what eBay charges...

Vista 32 bit vs 64 bit

I've actually been using Vista 64-Bit for the past week and have been impressed overall with its stability, but I've been running into a few odd issues with games that I wish didn't exist. Unreal Tournament III for example, will "stick" occasionally through gameplay, which makes benchmarking a...

    Is there any software?

Welcome to the forums :-) The first question would be what browser are you using? If it's Firefox, then I know there are a few extensions available that will do exactly what you need. If it's another, I'm not sure, but you might need a third-party application. If it's Firefox you are using...

    So, I'm buying a PC..

I'm still partial to Zalman's STG1. It might not be as great of a performer as the competition, but its super-easy applicator makes my job so much easier when swapping CPUs all the time. It applies like nail polish and comes off easy as well. I love it.

eBay Sellers Upset at New Rates

I am not a big fan of Google, but they are in a better place than anyone to launch a service that would directly compete with eBay. I have -no- idea why Google isn't snatching up this part of the market, because it's obvious people want an alternative. It's not like eBay has a patent on online...

Banjo Kazooie 3 coming late 2008

Hah, that might not be bad to be honest. I'd still pay a lot of cash just to have a new DK game though. I don't get why there hasn't been one. Donkey Kong Country's were -amazing-, and DK64 was amazing as well. Then... nothing at all since then. Come on Rare, dammit.

I am not sure about the cooler, but you might want to pick up some Tuniq thermal paste if that place has any in stock. It's apparently beating everything on the market by a couple degrees.

Best Buy, Netflix Both Shun HD DVD

I think it was doomed from the get go, and a lot of the "winning" for Blu-ray came from the PS3. If no consoles were in the scheme of things, we would have seen a completely different war. When anyone picks up a PS3 and has Blu-ray, why would they then go out and pick up an HD DVD player? Had...

NY Giants Win Superbowl, End Patriots Winning Streak

When the touchdown happened, I was more focused on the fact that my Patriot-fan buddies might be having a heart-attack. Luckily, none of them did.
