I don't even recall something like that on the board, but I do know I've had others with them. You'd have to take them off, no question, but it shouldn't be a problem. Since the majority of CPU coolers out there require a backplate, they wouldn't hold back the ability to use them.

Yes! That's the problem with these and a few other mounts. At least if you use screws, that's never going to happen (well, perhaps after a few thousand mounts perhaps).

That's what blows me away... they go through such hassle just to rip the customer off a few bucks. I'll never understand the mentality of that company, and it's bound to bite them in the ass eventually.
