Flickr Accidentally Deletes User's 4,000 Photos

I'd have to assume he did... at least I'd hope so. Some photographers I know have INSANE backup schemes, so I think he might be safe, but even so... that's a LOT of work down the "tubes". It can't be quick to upload that many photos and tag them each. Ugh.

Has Microsoft Been Taking Google's Results to Use in Bing?

The biggest advantage is that it's not Google. ;-)

Has Microsoft Been Taking Google's Results to Use in Bing?

As odd as it is, I still prefer Bing. I just use Google when searching for more technical data.

Heh, it IS true of a lot of CoD, but the video became a little repetitive.

AMD HD 6950 1GB vs. NVIDIA GTX 560 Ti Overclocking

AMD and NVIDIA released $250 GPUs last week, and both proved to deliver a major punch for modest cash. After testing, we found AMD to have a slight edge in overall performance, so to see if things change when OCing is brought into the picture, we pushed both cards hard, and then pit the results...

    Humour is Required

From our IRC during a chat with Optix who was experiencing issues with his PC. (Optix) Well, something is buggered. (Deathspawner) Probably happened when you installed Windows. (Optix) I'm going to install my foot in a second.

North Sea Jazz 2010 in Rotterdam, Holland

Damn, that dude REALLY gets into his guitar, haha. He's incredible... That's without question the best Chicane track I've ever heard... quite relaxing but not so ambient that it puts me to sleep. Acid Eiffel is a classic, I love it :D Here are a couple I don't think I linked to...

    Intel's Sandy Bridge Revealed: Core i5-2500K & i7-2600K Reviewed

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but this affects just SATA 2, not SATA 3. So if a board has a load of SATA 3 ports, you could just use those for the HDDs for the interim.

Is this a reason for concern?

For some reason, the older version of HD Tune wouldn't detect the SMART information properly on a couple of my drives, but I upgraded to 4.x and that's been fixed. But, I have a couple of warnings, and I am wondering whether it should be a reason for concern or not. If I recall, I had...

Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 BFBC2 Vietnam Edition

Metro 2033: As per what TheCrimsonStar says, even without anti-aliasing we're lucky to benchmark all of our cards because sometimes the performance is so low in some cases. What would you rather use? Medium detail and AA, or high detail and no AA? Personally, I vote for the latter. SCII...

    Intel's Sandy Bridge Revealed: Core i5-2500K & i7-2600K Reviewed

I don't think it does affect the drives themselves... just the ports. If the problem occurred, the PC just wouldn't see the drive.

ASUS should be announcing something soon. There are a lot of details to peruse over before issuing a release.

    AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB

I did an OS restore and installed the driver fresh on the card, and it ended up not being overclocked on the RAM... it was stock 800/1250. I guess the reason I saw 1300MHz on the memory at one point was just because I -was- overclocking at the time, and somehow the memory but not the core...

Have an Intel H67/P67 Motherboard? What Should You Do?

Intel yesterday made quite an impact around the Web, but not in a good way. The company of course announced that most of its shipped H67/P67 chipsets include a SATA-related fault, and immediately, news sites all over reported on it, and consumers who either just built a Sandy Bridge rig, or had...

    AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB

If all it took was additional RAM to be added to the PC to alleviate GPU issues, we might not see 2GB cards at all ;-) Our rig is "ultra high-end" because we want to make sure it's not a bottleneck. It's all left up to the GPU at that point to strut its stuff. I don't think the mass of RAM we...

Intel Admits SATA Problems with Sandy Bridge Chipsets

Looking to build or purchase a Sandy Bridge PC? After an announcement made by Intel today, you may want to hold off. According to the company, the chipsets that support Sandy Bridge (H67/P67) have launched with a fault that can cause storage issues down the road. Whether that means the SATA...

    AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB

I'm looking into things once again to see if there was a flaw in our testing. I've been overclocking the 1GB card for a future article, and I noticed that at boot, the memory clock was 1300MHz, not 1250MHz. But if I open up GPU-Z, it shows 1250MHz as the default. Once done overclocking I'm...

    AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB

Both cards were benchmarked with 11.1a. Before publishing, I even swapped cards again to do follow-up tests... results were the same.
