    BF3 early access codes

Cool, glad that worked; removed it. I loaded it up fast, but the website aspect of the game turned me off fast. You have to be INSIDE of an on-going match to just setup your graphics and test things out. I hope that's a beta feature exclusively :S

    BF3 early access codes

I cannot guarantee that these work, but I believe these codes to be early access codes for Battlefield 3. If you don't have the early access already, just load up Origin and redeem one of these codes, and please post if one of them works.

BlackBerry PlayBook Seeing Price-Drops at Some Retailers

Interesting. That would change everything. BlackBerry + Android sounds like a good deal.

Battlefield 3: PC vs. PlayStation 3

That is one of the better articles I've read in a while. Couple of points stood out: "In the fight over who can have the most egregious updates, the shoddiest business practices, and the biggest “f**k yous” communicated to paying customers, it seems consoles may end this generation as the...

BlackBerry PlayBook Seeing Price-Drops at Some Retailers

I have never touched a PlayBook, but to me the biggest problem feels like the lack of apps available in the app store. This isn't BlackBerry's problem per se, but a lot of the same apps can be found on both the Apple and Android app stores. I fooled around with my friend's BlackBerry Torch 9860...

AMD Releases Radeon 11.10 Preview Driver for Battlefield 3

Whether you're able to play the Battlefield 3 open-beta today or in a couple of days, you'll want to take note if you're an AMD user. The company has just released a "11.10 Preview Driver" that aims to primarily boost performance in the game, both with and without anti-aliasing in a single or...

BlackBerry PlayBook Seeing Price-Drops at Some Retailers

Like all other companies that sought out to compete against Apple's iPad, Research In Motion had expected to see its PlayBook tablet fly off of the shelves once it became available. In truth, so did we. The PlayBook brings a fluid UI, brand-new OS, big focus on gestures, a growing app store and...

NZXT Announces Source 220 Mid-Tower Chassis

Do you turn your undies inside out so that you can wear them for another day? If you're this frugal, NZXT's latest case release may just be what you've been looking for. On Friday the Source 220 mid-tower was launched, bringing with it many of the features that enthusiasts want but at a price...

OCZ's Synapse Cache SSD Allows Do-It-Yourself Hybrid SSD

I am not sure what would perform better, SRT vs. Synapse, but I'd lean towards the latter, given the company that produced the software only makes that software (or it seems that way). The best advantage is that a 128GB SSD could be used. Pair that up with a 2TB hard drive and it seems like it'd...

    Borderlands still exciting

Great write-up, marfig! I couldn't agree more... this game is a masterpiece. I've been craving playing it lately despite having completed my second playthrough just about two months ago. The humor, the ultra-fluid controls, the graphics and fun environments, all the action... the game is just...

Battlefield 3: PC vs. PlayStation 3

We posted an article last week that talked about current and predicted PC gaming trends, and I'll admit that I didn't expect quite the reaction that it had. A large number of major gaming sites linked to it, and after reading through most of the comments on some of them, it became obvious that...

NVIDIA's GeForce 285.38 Beta Drivers Boost Battlefield 3 Performance By 38%

In advance of the Battlefield 3 closed beta which begins tomorrow, and the open beta which begins two days later, NVIDIA has released a new beta GeForce driver specifically aimed at improving performance with the game. According to the company's tests, this driver can improve performance up to...

Adding Artistic Value to Your Smartphone Snapshots with Paper Camera

One area we've been lacking in coverage has been with mobile, and that's something we're in the process of fixing. We're currently working on a review of a tablet and a phone, but past hardware, we also want to take a look at software, or apps, that we find interesting. Kicking that sort of...

OCZ's Synapse Cache SSD Allows Do-It-Yourself Hybrid SSD

Last month, OCZ announced its RevoDrive Hybrid, a PCIe-based SSD that shipped with a 1TB hard drive built-in. OCZ's move to release such a product was interesting because it helped reaffirm the fact that SSD caching can indeed be useful. In the best case scenario, such an implementation would...

Corsair H100 Self-Contained Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Corsair has yet to release a liquid CPU cooler we haven't been impressed by, and the H100 doesn't become an exception. Building on what made the H80 such an impressive performer, the H100 doubles the radiator length, enabling support for up to 4 fans. One thing it proves? Bigger can indeed be...

    Epic crash in F1 2011

Just had to Alt + F4 then open the game back up again, wasn't a PC crash. First issue I've had in 10 hours... better record than most games I play.

NZXT Tempest 410 Elite Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Since 2008, NZXT's Tempest line-up has become well-known for offering a good bang for the buck. All of the models released to date have bold designs, but nothing over-the-top. The latest variant, the 410 Elite, focuses on efficient airflow, and includes a front honeycomb design and room for a...
