    The Sleeper

I was wondering what you would have to say about my Gigabyte comment. Guy: "Cool Asus theme!" You: "Yeah, check it out!" *pop the side* Waaaah, waaaah, waaaah, waaaaaaaaaaaaah.... Gigglebyte!

    The Sleeper

The rad would look, uh, rad with one of the newer Gigabyte boards. I think it would match the heatsinks dead on.

    Which One?

The Pi's aren't available through my favorite online retailer plus I think the heatsinks would cause problems with heatsink clearance although that is very much up in the air. Being a budget build I am leaning towards the Scythe Mugen 2 but may go with the Zalman Performa or Thermalright...

    The Sleeper

I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering if that is the final location for the radiator I also don't recall the front holes being round. Looks like I'll have to go back and re-read the thread. Keep up the good work and try not to scratch!

    Which One?

I'll be sure to post the results here and over on OCN. I'm just chomping at the bit to get going but have to wait for OCZ to send back my PSU from RMA. What are you getting for a CPU and RAM? Also what do you think about G.Skill's Eco? I have read it overclocks very well and can really...

CoolIT ECO A.L.C. Liquid CPU Cooler

I believe so. There are three back plates shown so I am assuming it is LGA 775, 1156 and 1366 since they all have different mounting hole locations.

CoolIT ECO A.L.C. Liquid CPU Cooler

I'd still like to know how this would stack up against a TRUE, Megatron, Performa and the like. It's an extra $25 tacked onto my budget build.

    Heatsink suggestions for review

Looks like it's all style and no substance. I'm pretty sure I read a review where it failed a stress test on an overclocked system at low fan speeds and barely made it at higher speeds. Then again it was 3am so I could have been reading about a dishwasher.

CoolIT ECO A.L.C. Liquid CPU Cooler

It is also great not to have a monster heatsink if you're using some Thermaltake cases where the upper edge of the motherboard is right at the top exhaust fan(s). The V3 is one of the major culprits and sometimes requires you to remove the exhaust fan all together or angle your tower heatsink...

    Which One?

Hey Radaja. I think I remember you from OCN and a few forums that I lurk in but am not a member of. I actually have a H55M-USB3 sitting right beside me. I just need the rest of the parts, which should be ordered this week if all goes well. The H55M-UD2H or P55M-UD2 were both front runners...

    Heatsink testing methodology

I like having the testing done in a case. Not many of us are running a tech station or leave our gear sitting on a box out in the open so as I said before the results are indicative of what most of us will be running. What I would like to see is some sort of standard across the board though...

CoolIT ECO A.L.C. Liquid CPU Cooler

Whoops! Thanks b1lk1! My teacher used to say I know just enough to be dangerous. He was a tool. Speed reading with a squirmy child on my lap is something I'm going to have to keep trying. Any idea how this would stack up against a CNPS10X Performa? I'm likely going to go with one of...

CoolIT ECO A.L.C. Liquid CPU Cooler

Wah, wah, wah, waaaaaaaah.... No overclocked temperatures? I understand that not everybody overclocks but you show me an office user who wants water cooling and I'll show you an idiot. "Woah! Excel is stressing my CPU!" I'm really tempted to scale back on my case and cooling solutions...

    Cooler Master R4 Fans!

I had a 60mm Delta and it scared the hell out of me. When I fired it up there was so much torque it almost jumped out of my hand. One time I made the mistake of getting a knuckle too close to it. NEEEEER! Bye, bye skin. Hello blood. The BIOS showed it topping out at 5,200 RPM.

    Cooler Master R4 Fans!

5 of any fan that moves a signifigant amount of air is going to be loud...even some less efficient fans are still loud. If LED's are your main reason then the R4's should be perfect. Couple with fan controller, perfection!

    Cooler Master R4 Fans!

Hey Kougar...you should sit beside a Tempest with all fans wide open. What? What? I can't wait to get my new gear so I can actually hear what people are saying in the other room. You could check out the Scythe Slip Stream's as well, Doomsday. The ones I am going for seem to offer the...
