I'd be pleased to, lord knows Vince loved the one I built for him :)

    New Rig

The point is that the spec list on newegg states the ram type used by the mobo that the IT guy chose, it doesn't say DDR2 yet he told the OP to buy DDR2. That right there would be enough to make me think twice about trusting his skills in building my investment. I've met IT guys that made me...

    New Rig

If your IT guy is so unfamiliar with AMD that he didn't know off the bat that DDR2 and socket 939 don't mix I'd be a bit reticent about having him build my rig but that's just me. Of course I don't let anyone work on my PC or my car unless it's something that I cannot do and that's only in the...

DFI Lan Party Ultra D or Asus A8n32 SLI

You'll get about a 70% increase not a 100% increase but it's still worth it.

DFI Lan Party Ultra D or Asus A8n32 SLI

The reason your A8V oc'ed like crap was the chipset. The VIA chipset sucks for overclocking and every board built around it has been an absolute failure at overclocking.

DFI Lan Party Ultra D or Asus A8n32 SLI

Trust me on this, I've used (and have but awaiting a GPU and CPU) the ASUS A8N32 SLI and it's a great board. I seriously doubt that you'll have the same issues. That board and the board you have now are like comparing a Geo Metro to a Corvette. Yes they're both made by GM but one is the low end...

    Need some help here.

The MSI K8N-Diamond is an awesome board. The A8N32SLI is also a great board but then again so are the DFI-D series.

    No more 3000+, 3200+

Not only that but the higher number cores offer a higher profit margin. They've probably got the fab to the point where there's no need to bin to lower speeds so doing so is just cutting the bottom line a bit lower.

All American Computers.. An Inside Look

Well, the TJ07 for instance...it's nearly the same size, has more than enough room for all the WC gear and tips the scales at around 10lbs. Alloy cases aren't nearly as heavy as their SECC counterparts.
