I could care less about looking trendy, I'm a function over form kind of guy. If it works great then it's the thing to have, looking good doing it is just something extra but looking like a brick while functioning better than something that's gold plated and has spinners is great.

Have you boosted the Vcore? It could be that it's running out of CPU voltage. Also set the Vdimm to 2.8V.

So, they're the best in their segment but don't deserve a 10 huh? What constitutes a 10? Superior performance? Check, they're better than the other 5.1's, you said it yourself. Quality? I've seen these headphones myself and they're very well made and I've been around studio grade equipment...
