    Tiger vs. Crocodile

^ Yeah. Those moon rocks. Deadly little buggers when they're in their element.

Good hint that you have an instable overclock

I think it's one of those "master of my fate" type situations. "Well if my machine needs to be shut down, by golly, I'm gonna' be the one to do it! Outta' my face you emotionless mech, I'll restart you when it damn well pleases me." "....which is now."

Wii are to have fun on Nov 19

My only concern will be us playin' around the tv and smashing our controllers together as we wildly swipe at virtual tennis balls. :D

I am *not* soliciting for votes for me...

I really was amazed how that rotting end table was winning. Most pathetic-looking hack of a mod I can recall seeing. Not that I can mod for squat, but neither can that chap

Core Duo 2 -- No Ide

I still prefer IDE. Of course, I have no choice in the matter since I still harbor ten or twelve odd drives bound by those flat, obtrusive cables... I certainly won't be making another IDE purchase but it should be noted there's still a significant amount of consumers in my scenario who will...

Tupac Dies 10 years ago today

Emmer effer this, emmer effer that Blippity bloppity bloo Piss on you... foo' In any event, here's a well-known poem he wrote at 18: "In the event of my Demise when my heart can beat no more I Hope I Die For A Principle or A Belief that I had Lived 4 I will die Before My Time Because I feel...

Good hint that you have an instable overclock

lol, I had read about the "shutdown -a" command but the last couple times the Death Timer appeared I always ended up typing it wrong and missing the countdown.

    27 days uptime

I was just camping in MO over the weekend and am considering moving there in the future. Given your post, where do I not go if I want decent, dependable modern living replete with the regular amenities? :)

    Saitek Eclipse II Illuminated Keyboard

What of the feel of the keys? And how silent/loud are they? Too late to get it on Woot for $40 but doesn't hurt to know. :)

    Link check, typo check...

Or you could just pay me or madstork to hunt him down. About the site, it looks real nice. My only thoughts would be the space on the right side which, only used on the Mods page, gives the site a somewhat off-kilter look. When not needed for side-panel tabs or info, maybe consider extending...

    ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe WiFi Edition

Here's a registry fix for the problem. nVidia may be also be correcting the issue in future driver releases. EDIT: Apparently, it's fixed in versions 91.31 and later.

    27 days uptime

I don't know if I could ever let it go for more than a few days with all the stuff I install/uninstall on a regular basis. There's something nigh-compulsive about my restarting... Clean out the cobwebs every other moment. Scrape away the corrosion every morning. Restart for luck. Restart...

    Real-life Gaussian Blur

I rather enjoyed the one that "deformed" things after you turned away, much like the Liquify functions in Photoshop.

    Viral Vids

Very good. From what I understand, this group started the trend of "city jumping" (specifically the one who jumps without a shirt... there was a 15 min. video in French somewhere which chronicled his little feats). This particular video has some good moments, though you'll have to pardon the...

Earth on your desktop (real-time simulator ... not Google)

This has been circulating the web for a little bit, but for those who haven't seen it... This little program will automatically render a scene of earth from space in real-time. Adjust cloud cover, time of the year, etc., and it has the bonus of looking pretty. There's some other neat...
