Get Ready to Gear Up for Fast and the Furious 5

I'm a bit of a car guy and I hate how the series portrays racing. IMO, it's geared for 13-14 year olds who play NFS (the newer ones, not the old school, more simulation geared)

    The Biggest Rip-Offs in America

"At least, not when the text books cost a freaking $900 per year! " Not when you go to my school and rent textbooks for $120~ a semester (which is the cost for one textbook for courses...) :p

Are Girls Bigger Hardcore Gamers than Men?

The lady gamers I know stick to fantasy, whereas the men are mostly FPS. A broad range of games are needed, and IMO I think at the end the sexes are about equal in hardcore gaming

    Home Theater Reciever died...

Well he went with it anyway...it is nice. The problem is, the BD doesn't play 5.1...only stereo...works fine for DVDs. I'll investigate and see what's going on..

    Home Theater Reciever died...

Looking for one around $300-400 that is relatively "idiot-proof" (read: for a 52 yr old father that is OK with tech). Here is something close to what he said he wanted: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882105285 Do note that he is a bit of a Sony guy...

AT&T Suing Verizon Over 3G Map Advertising

ATnT...figures. Haven't heard good things from people on the 3G network from the northshore of Milwaukee. I watched a video on a friends' phone and it dropped out twice, inside, while not moving. When you can innovate...litigate. or move things offshore

The upgrade was only $30...might as well give it a shot. If I like it, I'll use my mom's school email and get one for the laptop (esp for the ssd boosts)
