Right on schedule, the latest iteration of the Consumer Electronic Show is set to begin next week, and as usual, we'll be there to check out the sites and report on all that's important and interesting. One of the best parts of CES is that it gives us all a clear idea of what to expect from the upcoming year, so one must ask oneself... what trends will we be seeing at CES 2011?

Read the rest of our post and then discuss it here!

As resident Rob stalker I'd like to apologize for being late.

Motherboards, motherboards, motherboards!

Moving to 1155 would really be the only change I'd make to my system other than a SSD, which should be coming shortly. I'm really limited on what I'm interested in now that I have a fairly current system.

Who knows? Maybe something will show up that will get my wallet interested.

The humorous thing is that most motherboards were seen at Computex, so there's not going to be a ton to look at there I don't think. Will see if we can find some Lian Li or chassis stuff in general. As for Lucid... I dunno. I'd like to see some major improvement made, but as it is, I think CrossFireX or SLI is still going to reign supreme for a while.

I'll be the first one to point out the obvious, babes...

TBH, there is nothing going on in IT at the moment that gets me excited... Hey look we got product X, which is the same as the previous 10 gens, only a tad higher clocks/speeds/...

Oooh, AMD Fusion info! I read that they have an in-CPU GPU that is as powerful as the 5670/8800GT.

Richard, Greg and I are heading out to CES, so expect to see some related content soon :D

First couple of days there will consist of random conferences, and all the real good stuff should begin on Thurs!

Posting this from FREE WiFi at Toronto Pearson. Last time I was here (last summer) it was $10 a shot, so this is nice. Gotta start making sure I come through here instead of Montreal.

Looking forward to landing in Vegas, and especially looking forward to going to a press conference two hours afterward! (Might be sarcasm there.)

When you hit Vegas, make sure to stop by the Gun Runners, it can be a real hell hole so make sure you're armed. Also, if you bump into a guy called Benny in one of the casino's wearing a smart stripy suit, kick him in the nutts since he stole a platinum poker chip from me... Plus watch out for Fiend raiding parties, they're pissed because the Great Khans cuddled up with the NCR to help fend off the Legion in the area, and have cut back on their drug production...

Oh Wait... you Said Las Vegas... nevermind... :p
