NVIDIA to Launch GeForce GTX 580 Next Week?

After we posted our in-depth look at AMD's Radeon HD 6800 graphics cards a couple of weeks ago, we took a look at what NVIDIA's radar may look like, to see what the company might do to steal back some of AMD's thunder. It's not that AMD released the best single-GPU card on the market, but from a price, performance and features standpoint, it delivered an appealing overall package.

Nvidia just seems desperate now! Still, loved the GTX460, would have bought it but, well, maybe the GTX560!

Hahaha I had seen about the 580...... Wonder if it is really gonna be in spec on power usage.... somehow I doubt it..... and I bet the dual gpu 6k series will own it so hard.....

The 450 is a screamer but I'm not sure what Nividia has up their sleeves that can compete with the new 6800 line up.
