I think it's a great track. It's cool as we all have different taste makes it all more interesting You know I'm actually a bit surprised these sounds coming from Germany lol! This frankly is on the other end of the scale as the German kitchen haha You think? He isn't playing on water yet though LOL! Me might be electrified.. :O Wow I am speaking to a big fan here! I have seen him live this year in May at our Queensday. I am affraid you're right. I don't like much of his latest tracks either. It just didn't seem right. So we left prematurely... I prefer Armin van Buuren nowdays. It used to be the other way round.
I have just been to holiday to Canada to catch up with family. Had a great time there. My family lives there they immigrated from Holland and have a farm there. My cousin was listening to this music I stood back in amazement, I love it I have to get used to post stamped Holland again lol.. It's my second week back here again.. Work awaits me in a bit.. haha Here's a link the band is called alter bridge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsZA2_cHdeE&feature=related
Geez, I thought I responded to your earlier posts a long time ago. *shakes head* I couldn't agree more here, although it's also kind of sad because it's at around this same point where Tiësto changed his style so starkly. He released a Blu-ray for the EoL world tour that took place in Copenhagen, and it's an epic four hour set and one of his best. I tell you, I didn't expect his style to change so much afterward though. Still looking forward to the future and hoping he isn't going to go more mainstream with his sound than his last album did. Hah, did we at least have good weather for you? Whereabouts did you go? That was the band that was the result of Creed's fallout, so that alone would tell me I'd like them, but I surprisingly never gave them much of a listen. That song seems pretty good though. I gotta check out their other stuff and see how it grabs me. Not generally into this specific type of rock, but once in a while a band will appeal to me. They remind me a fair bit of Shinedown so far and that's also a great band.
I was in Nova Scotia spending time with my immigrated family. They've got a dairy farm up there. The weather has been really nice. Above 30 degree days with tremendous high humidity though lol. But it was great. We went river rafting, did the Cabot Trail, went to Prince Edward Island and to Treego in Monkton that was funny lol.. We rented a four by four there it was fun. I'd like to see the west part of Canada though like the Rocky Mountains or British Columbia. That was a little too expensive for now lol It's been great being there. We just got back home before Earl that was close actually lol. I had to get used to Alter Bridge as well. That song they play live is actually quite outstanding if you ask me. The studio version sounds a bit more to my liking but I can tell they are great musicians. These guys seem outsiders though I haven't heard much about them. I think their music is bright it sounds positives. I like the lyrics too. I don't like swearing in music too much. Yea I'm not so much into Tiësto now these days.
LOL I didn't like that fat food much there but I got told the kitchen gets better once you get to the cities. A lot of fries for fill up and a tremendous little amount of vegetables haha.. But the rest I really did like! Canadian people are more friendly then most Dutch folks. Well.. it's a lot more croudy here 18 million people and career comes first here mostly. Not in my book but with a lot of Dutchies it does. They like cheap food and lots of holidays lol!
Damn, man. When you were in Moncton, you were literally one hour from me, haha. It's good that you missed Earl... we were supposed to get hit hard here in New Brunswick, but didn't. Parts of Nova Scotia were slammed, with lots of power outages. Glad you enjoyed the trip to my neck of the woods! It impresses the heck out of me when musicians realize that they don't have to swear every five seconds to produce good music. Today, it seems like a lot of songs have curses in it just for the sake of it. That's not what people want... we just want good music. Canadians are generally known as being friendly, and my city in particular was named last year as being the happiest city in all of Canada. Kind of cool. I still want to visit the Netherlands some day... I like too many things there. Coincidentally, we just reviewed a product from the Netherlands!
Wow I didn't realize isn't that surprising! We were supposed to go Go karting too in Moncton but we didn't have the time to still do that. We might have gotten killed anyway so that's a good thing LOL! I don't exactly know where in Moncton we were. It was at this place called Treego you can swing from tree to tree if that sounds familiar to you. It's fun, but a little exhausting lol! Glad that hurricane didn't hit you. Sorry about being this enthusiastic about music lol this is one trance track I recently heard and it's one of my absolute favourites. There is a vocal version of this track too, but this live version is just so cool. Now that would be a party where I liked to be at during this set.. my goodness lol.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmaR1GQ9fRM
Unfortunately I'm back in Holland land again. Have to keep that in mind for another time! It's cool to know I wasn't that far away from you guys. I didn't expect that. Anyhow how are you these days Bill? All going well?
These two I do really like as well (especially the second song :O): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5tnGihx0hU&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MTH0CzU4-8&feature=related
Well I came across this guitarist Tommy Emmanuel and I'm just stumped by this guy really.. He is one of my all-time favourite acoustic guitarists really! No wonder he had to come from crazy Australia! lol.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBEbYXa6Cik&feature=related
Considering trance / techno here are two tracks I've just remembered.. What do you think of these? I think they are both pretty good Chicane - Offshore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNT4GcrETSA Choice - Acid Eiffel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6Lj5egNB1M EDIT: if I had one criticism I would say the second track isn't diverse enough for it's length.. I do really like the beginning build-up
Damn, that dude REALLY gets into his guitar, haha. He's incredible... That's without question the best Chicane track I've ever heard... quite relaxing but not so ambient that it puts me to sleep. Acid Eiffel is a classic, I love it Here are a couple I don't think I linked to before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOAra5f0qlk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzSxHO_Pc-8
I especially like the second one you posted It sounds a bit psychedelic. The second one is a little too quick for my liking, but it's cool I found a few amazing relaxing ones EDIT: I'm afraid this puts you to sleep sorry LOL! This one actually sounds a bit Enya like: Above & Beyond - Good For Me (original mix): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upA0Ba1Ul4A Dj Tiesto ft. Kirsty Hawkshaw - Battleship Grey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bropQvasmtE&playnext=1&list=PL97FE77505188E5BB
I'm a little overdue on responding here... damn. Above & Beyond is a major exception for me when it comes to slower music. They are just epic producers, and I haven't heard an album by them yet that has been lackluster... not even close. Do yourself a favor and listen straight through the Tri-State album for example... there just doesn't exist a poor track on it As for Tiësto, that song is great... quite mellow but entrancing. I might have to say that In My Memory (which features that track) is my ultimate favorite Tiësto album, and go figure... it was his first studio album. I might be seeing him again in April, should be a good time, even though he's gone gung-ho mainstream since last time I've seen him. I've been huge into Magnetic Man... none of their songs quite sound alike. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BE9KmkiOAl0 (This might be my favorite... love that synth sound) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2vWQFHP3D0 (Just listen to the energy!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRnDIXsGIyc
Well this sounds like something different. To me it sounds like classic trance with a little drum and bass combined. Especially in that first track the back sound sounds like some kind of magnetic field haha! They certainly thought about their identity. Yes I think the first track stands out as well
I remember at the age at 17 I was listening at this radio program called Dance Department this is what me gotten into trance at that age. My music taste has become much broader now these days, but I think if the quality of the music is that good, the genre you are listening doesn't really matter lol.. Here's a couple of tracks that cought my ears and I think I've gotta check this music out Alice Deejay - Better of alone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHjNmyzrVvM Rising star - Touch me (couldn't find the original track like that better): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7u05jijAe8 Junk Project - Peace 'N' Love: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYByR8rk55M Green Court - Follow Me (Cosmic Gate Rmx): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdfEdcS4po4 Yves Deruyter - Feel Free: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cKCl1t_p0g System F - Out Of The Blue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBjaat3vevc DJ Tom Stevens Vs Fridge - Outface 2000: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gAYmaV1xtk Faithless Insomnia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NH35pdf4DSo This had me dancing like a weird rabbit in my room LOL! Especially that Faithless track! If have found the original full track I thought what is this that is coming out my little radio haha! Memories of me being a 17 year old LMAO!
I can't agree with you more.. Listening to it right now, this is definitely some amazing music I love it!
