If Intel's recent launch of the Core i7-980X Extreme Edition six-core, twelve-threaded monster of a CPU wasn't attractive enough to get you drooling into your keyboard, then the latest motherboard from EVGA aims to fix that. Formerly known by the W555 codename, the EVGA Classified SR-2 (Super Record 2) is designed as the ultimate motherboard.

They had a motherboard naming contest on their forum and the winner who's entry was chosen won this motherboard.

I don't recall seeing this entry in the thread. Even a forum search of SR2 in the general section yielded no results. Hmm...

My mistake:
We have a winner! The official name for the EVGA dual socket board is EVGA Classified SR-2! The SR stands for super record, with 2 indicating 2 CPU sockets. Now we don't have an exact match, however we felt the closest entry was by kt9394 for his choice with EVGA i5520 Super Classified X2.

Congrats to them and boo to me! That thing could have sold for a small fortune.
