AMD Radeon HD 6950 & HD 6970 2GB

These cards bring a couple of interesting features, including a revamped architecture, improved power handling, dual BIOS support, EQAA anti-aliasing and more. Good looking performance for about $120 less than the 580 but I'm still curious to know if AMD has another high end offering up their sleeves. With the name change the 5700's became the 6800's and the 5800's became the 6900's. What happened to the actually 5900's? Will we see a 6970 X2?

That's one reason I've been waiting and didn't jump on a 6800 card. Of course the way the industry works, anything is practically obsolete before you open the box.

Yes we will see another highend from amd and it is 6990. It will release in Q1 of 2011
