Are not some games slowed down within the programming to avoid stuff moving across the screen too fast? A dual core will not make a difference in a game that is already being slowed down on current processors.

My parents only own a notebook. They will use it on the dining room table, while sitting on the sofa, and in their bedroom. Nice thing about a notebook is that you can take it with you, no matter where you go. Not a bad way to use a computer.

The quality should of went down and not up? The Creative Sound Blaster Live is really outdated and almost any onboard audio should perform better then it. Are you sure that you configured the onboard audio correctly on your motherboard when you tested it?

I will never switch to ATI until ATI adds a similiar feature like digital vibrance to their cards. I read an article a couple years ago stating that ATI was working on it, but they never added it.
