    Everything you are arguing is about their computers. Apple is diversified now and makes most of it's money thru other outlets. The Ipod is probably the all time largest selling MP3 player. Apple has made enough money selling Ipods to buy other companies out.

    Long as Microsoft has an effective monopoly on the OS business, Linux will never be a mainstream business OS. It all boils down to how many applications are available to immediately buy and install for each OS.

    Still have Pc-3200?

    I still use PC100 on one rig!! Talk about ancient :) The PC100 rig is uses for miscellaneous things, such as running a firewall. My main rig uses PC3200.

    Anybody else use only the onboard audio?

    I wouldn't touch onboard audio. I play too many games and I like high quality sound which you only get from a good sound card. There is nothing like hearing every gun shot and explosion with movie theater quality when playing a game!

    Looking for a program to fix dead pixels..

    A dead pixel can be either a pixel that is not receiving any power, or a pixel that is receiving power all the time. When it does not receive any power it is black, and when it receives power all the time it is white. That is how a dead pixel can be white.

    How much is too much for a video card?

    Around $150 is the most I pay for a video card. You may of guessed, that I'm not that hi-tech here. I have a decent machine that serves my needs, but thats about it.

    Thumb Drives

    Did you try Ebay? On Ebay you can find thumbdrives for as cheap as 30 bucks. Can often get thumb drives for about half retail price.

    $200 is not that expensive. I seen graphics card go for $400 to $500.
