    Discuss: Logisys LED VGA Cooler

For overclockers who really want to get an extra punch out of their GPU.. a stock cooler doesn't usually do it justice. Copper Heatsinks are becoming more and more popular, and Logisys has joined that bandwagon. Does their Copper cooler improve on a stock cooler? Review is located here. After...

To anybody who has had first-hand experience with the Logitech MX 518...

Sorry, I thought you meant if the LED went completely off. It actually stays the same brightness all the time. Since it is not cordless, I don't know how important power saving is.. I would like to review the Razor mouse, and will in the future, something I'm working on. Just so much on the...

Welcome to the forums :) The LED is always on, but you cannot see it, as the mouse is so flat against the surfice. I have never seen an Optical mouse that ever turns the LED off.. but I am not sure about the Razor. USB Connector is not gold plated, and the buttons are not easily pushed...

    Homebuilt PC Ingredients?

I just got done building a friend a great computer. It scores a base score of near 8,000 in 3D Mark, so it's definitely good for every game out there. It may not hit 4x AA and 16x AF.. but it's definately a great computer. AMD64 3000+ 1GB Samsung DDR400 DFI Lanparty SLi UT Mobo MSI 6600GT...

    ImageReader ISA Driver

Sadly, it doesn't look like you will have much luck trying to get it to work. Searching around the web, I found that the company doesn't even exist anymore, and that none of their scanners were XP supported. I assume you've tried the 98 Drivers.. because that would be the best bet. If...

    Discuss: Logisys LED Fan Mouse

I cannot see why it would not work, as it didn't require any software to use. You should be good to go! And welcome to the forums!

    Discuss: Logisys LED Fan Mouse

Do you have a hard time playing intense games for hours at a time, due to holding the mouse with your sweaty paws is impossible? Logisys tries to answer this gripe by throwing a fan smack dab in the mouse. Is this mouse as cool as it looks? Check out the review here, and discuss it afterwards...

    Discuss: Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse

I've been using it for a day at 1000ms and haven't noticed any slowdown or anything. I haven't played any games either though. I will likely play some CS later on tonight and see how more "precise" it is... Like preciseness will help me not get owned :| :P

What kind of mouse do you use for gaming?

Oh yeah.. If anyone besides me lives in Canada.. Staples are selling the MX510 for $18.88.. $30 instant rebate and a $10 mail-in. Good deal for sure.. considering the other day they were $60CAN.

    Discuss: Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse

Ok, today was a little bit better of a day, hehe. I ran the rate checker, and this is what I came up with: Is that what you were looking for cmoz? Let me know, and I can tweak around a little more with it. Those readings there are when it was patched to 1000ms.

cmoz, sorry I didn't have time to test that tweak today.. what a day :D Will do it tomorrow unless a bomb falls on my house. --- japroach, That's wierd. My friend and I both found the same thing. I just found gaming on the MX1000 to take away some control. I've never quite had that with any...

Cool, great info. I will give this a shot tomorrow, as it's getting late here. Sounds interesting, can't wait to blow up my mouse or computer! Will have results for you sometime tomorrow. I'll try 250, 500 and 1000 to see what happens.

I haven't tried to tweak the rate in any way. However, the average rate is 124Hz. Are there any programs you would like me to test this with? Oh, and welcome to the forums!

"Enable Notification" To update the matter with Enabling Notification: In order to have this work, you must go into your Control Panel, then Sound and Audio options. Under your sounds, there is an option for 'Logitech SetPoint', and you can then set the sounds, then this feature will work...

    Discuss: Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse

Are you a hardcore gamer that still uses the basic, bland mouse? Are you looking to add improvements to your gameplay, so you don't look like a noob online? Logitech's MX510 Series of mice are great, but they looked to improve it even more, by adding the ability to change the DPI on the fly. How...

What kind of mouse do you use for gaming?

Expect a review of the MX518 tomorrow or Friday. Mike, you play CS right? How do you find playing those types of games with a cordles mouse? I found that the control was a little worse, because I have the habit of lifting my mouse, moving it, and it then moving me in game. That doesn't...

What kind of mouse do you use for gaming?

What kind of mouse are you using for your gaming? I have always used an Optical mouse, but lately have been using the MX1000 from Logitech. It's an awesome mouse, but doesn't seem that it's built for gaming, I think just because it's cordless. More tests to be had for sure though, as I will...

    Favorite Linux Distro?

Mike, for people who've never installed Linux before.. it usually is a pain to install. Lee, Linux sucks for games, unless you have extremely limited tastes hehe. It's better to have a Dual boot with XP and Linux, so that you can use Windows just for games, and Nix for everything else.
