I don't know. Maybe I'm a tech whore.. but I think I would. It really depends on what the OS can do. If I lost a lot of functionality due to not having the right hardware, I would likely upgrade.

Did you try re-installing the Divx Codec? Or see if there is a new version available? It could also be your video drivers.. I've seen that happen before.
