Man, you have a nice HDD on your hands. As for RAID, I have yet to see an actual speed benefit. Mirroring is good for security, but that's about the only reason I'd set up a RAID for.

ATI hopefully will not fail. I was impressed with the X1800XL results from HKEPC, so I can only imagine that the XT version will blow that away.

The 7800GT has already gone down $60CAN since it launched, and I can only expect it to go down more if the X1 series is going to kick serious ass. Either way, for the price of the 7800GT, it's an *amazing* card.

Oh.. I guess that makes sense, if you want to plug your headset into the audio jacks and the USB plug is right beside it. Does it even give an option for a battery instead though?

There are tools out there to make the drives bootable. My motherboard specifically, will try to boot from it if it's simply plugged in during bootup. I can't remember the name of the tools at the moment though :/ I believe there is a Tutorial floating around that allows you to setup Linux...
