What's wrong with ordering from a place like NewEgg? Having your choices cut down like that is not a good thing :P The ST will probably suit you fine, but like I said, they will not be great for overclocking.

Super Talent currently only uses Infineon Rev B chips, so you will not likely get much overclocking out of those to be honest. I am not sure what your price range is, but here's my favorite 2GB kit currently: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145596 These should also...

2*1GB for sure. Just pump enough voltage so that it can handle CAS2, hehe. What set are you looking at?

    XP Sp2 Issues

You could try booting the CD with the string 'apci=off', which may help. Sorry to hear that you couldn't get it working though. If 80 is good for you, then that's ok. That's usually what I get in CS: S and such also.

CAS 2 is the best really. CAS 3 is *ok*, but you will want to make sure that specific module will OC well. In the end, you want to make sure you have at least CAS 2.5, because you want the fastest possible response in new games.

    OCZ Gold 1GB PC2-5400

If you are in the market for a 1GB DDR2 kit, then this kit proves to be a great choice. Despite being value memory, it overclocks quite well with the ability to keep stock timings. Discuss the full review here!

You may want to try OpenSuSE if anything bro. http://en.opensuse.org/Download Download the Novell SuSE Live CD. You can set up your net during the booting phase, it's very easy. You will just have to open up a terminal to ping a server.

Did you try dhcpcd eth0 or dhcpcd eth1 It's probably 0, and will take a second to click in. If it doesn't work, then sorry. There are other Linux distros that would work to test also, but they are much larger than 60MB, hehe.

Click here to download. You will need a blank CD to burn the image to. If you boot up with that, you will need to push enter so that you will enter into the live environment. As soon as you hit a command prompt, you may be good to go already, just type 'ping techgage.com' or any other website...

    Antec Phantom 500W Power Supply

Be warned that 4GB currently does not operate under Windows XP SP2. I will let Matt answer your question about the PSU though, he knows more than I do about what it could handle :)

    XP Sp2 Issues

I am still not sure if it's Windows for sure though, because that's a damned wierd thing to just happen. I've installed SP2 on six computers and haven't had such a wierd problem. If you are willing to download a 60MB Linux distro that's self booting, let me know. We could ping the server that...

Open up a cmd prompt (Start > Run > 'cmd') and type in 'ping techgage.com' and see what your average ms is.

The most noteable addition to SP2 is the Windows Firewall. I would see if that's disabled and see if that makes a difference.

TimeShift Demo, Reason to Be Excited?

I had to cancel the download early because I had to do some benchmarking. I will likely do the download through the night since I will be jumping all around the PC all day.

    Antec Phantom 500W Power Supply

Ahh, good info about the SLI Cert, I had no idea. The thing is though, they make NO mention that there are two PCI-E connectors, they state that there is "a PCI-E connector", so they completely disregard the second.

    Antec Phantom 500W Power Supply

Power supplies are an important part of our PC and should never be overlooked. Antec is one of the top makers in the market, due to their stability and build quality. We are taking a look at their 500W Phantom and see how it stands up to a Dual Core system. Discuss the review here!

Anyone Know A Good Video Editter?

There's actually a free tool out there that I use for that reason, called VirtualDub: http://www.virtualdub.org/ You can easily delete various portions and then export the video in numerous formats. If you want to save it as a DivX, you will need the codec. Even Windows Movie Maker is decent...

    Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

No :( I have a feeling that they don't care that much, because there is an obvious desire to have it. I hope someone else will come along, like Logitech and create a controller similar to the 360 but be wireless.
