Researching cases/power supplies for new clients

As for the filtering and such... that's in progress right now. It should have been a long time ago, yes. But we got behind on things ;-) Welcome to the forums!

    Intels 80 core Teraflop processor

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 11, 2007 – Intel Corporation researchers have developed the world’s first programmable processor that delivers supercomputer-like performance from a single, 80-core chip not much larger than the size of a fingernail while using less electricity than most of today’s home...

    17" Dell notebook - $999!

Damn, that seems like a great deal. Even includes 2GB of ram, that's incredible. Home Basic is a letdown, but Vista is a letdown in general as far as I am concerned. At this point at least. Still, it kicks the ass off my laptop.

    Windows Vista Gaming Performance Reports

Hah, I think you are doomed for Vista. There are still so many bugs related to Vista, it's one reason why I don't recommend anyone to upgrade right now. Did you happen to check out the official forums for the game and see if there is any info there? You may want to try to run PB or CoD in...

    Half-Life 2: 64-Bit - Reason to get excited?

You need to have a 64-Bit version of Windows. Just install HL2 like any other time, it will automatically use the 64-Bit version. You will know, because it will say "64-Bit" in the corner.

    Anyone using Firefox 3 ???

Well... you'd be surprised to know that 3.0 was in development even before the 2.0 beta. They plan ahead and start working on specific features -way- down the road. Before we see 3.0, there will likely be a 4.0 starting in development as well. That's why 3.0 as it stands, is meant more for...

    Twinhead Durabook D14RI

Are you in the market for a notebook that can take certain punishment? How about one that will survive a drop, spill or being thrown off a bridge? Well, it won't survive the last one, but it is designed to suit the lifestyle of the clumsy notebook user. You can read the full review here and...

    Anyone using Firefox 3 ???

What's new in it? Right now, I think it is pointless to use 3.0 unless you are a developer. I didn't even run 2.0 until the final version came out because I didn't want to go without my extensions. Is there anything noticeably different?

Zalman 9500AT Intel 775 CPU Cooler

Yes, you are completely right. From what I remember, I used both methods and settled on that one (for whatever reason). I used the proper rotation in my review of the 9700LED though: http://techgage.com/article/zalman_9700led_cpu_cooler

    ASUS WL-500W SuperSpeed N Router

We took a look at the ASUS' WL-500g router a few months ago and were quite impressed with its performance. The router we are evaluating today is similar, but can also handle new draft N wireless devices. You can read the review right here and then discuss in it this thread when finished!

    Tagan TG1100-U95 1100W Power Supply

That, or claiming higher wattages will sell their more expensive PSUs ;-)

    Tagan TG1100-U95 1100W Power Supply

Hostile much? :D I don't recall who it was that told me this.. it could have been Tagan actually. I need to get a Kill-A-Watt and start testing these theories myself.

    Zalman 9700LED CPU Cooler

Yes I did... but I didn't notice anything like that happening. It's not in the PC anymore (this was actually all done early last month) but I will be hooking it up again later this week to see if anything like that happens.

    Ha...Go Colts!

Huge congrats to the Colts! It was again sketchy at first with the favor towards the Bears, but Colts have been the comeback kings lately. Great stuff! When Gregs not drunk, he can post here ;-)

    Tagan TG1100-U95 1100W Power Supply

Have you tested this out yourself, or have a link? I was told by a PSU company at CES that they require an upwards of 180W.

    Zalman 9700LED CPU Cooler

If you love large air CPU coolers, then you will drool over the 9700LED. It's equipped with a 110mm fan, while it's older brother, the 9500LED, has only 92mm. Included extras here include better thermal paste and a fan controller. Does this CPU coolers larger stature make it a winner in our...

    Huge 2x120mm Air Cooler!

I agree. We seen this at CES last month and the CM rep there even admitted that it is not an easy cooler to install. Overkill =/
