    ASUS P5K3 Deluxe WiFi-AP

Intel's P35 chipset was only just released, but ASUS already has seven motherboards which utilize it. We are taking a look at one of their top models, the P5K3 Deluxe. This board utilizes DDR3 memory and has WiFi capabilities built-in. It also turns out to be a great overclocker. You can read...

    Show off your desktop!

Is that a production model? I know I've seen rally cars similar to that, but nothing for sale. Looks sharp.

    ASUS Lamborghini VX2

You are right, the original is 1440x1050. I have no idea where I got the idea that it was 1440x900. I might have been mixed up because I was using the A8Js at the time which was using a 1440x900 resolution. Obviously that wasn't the case. I made that statement when I believed the VX1 had a...

    Highest 754 Athlon 64 3200 Venice Overclock

It's not surprising to hit lower overclocks with Dual Core processors, it's the way I've always seen things. Grats on the over clock Nick. I've been running my 3200+ at 2.7GHz for the past two years. 2.8Ghz I didn't find to be 100% stable.

NYC Taxi medallion sold for record $600,000

A retiring Pakistani driver who'd been driving a cab in New York for the last 25 years sold his medallion Wednesday for a staggering $600,000 -- an all-time record for such a sale. The medallion, which gives cab drivers the right to operate legally in the city, cost $30,000 when it was purchased...

    ASUS Vento 7700

Long known as a high quality motherboard manufacturer, Asus isn’t normally included in conversations about computer chassis. With their Vento line of gaming cases, Asus looks to expand their reach even further into the gaming industry. Is it worth it or should they stick to motherboards? We...

    Microsoft Surface

I am sure that when Apple released the Mighty Mouse, everyone accused them of copying every other mouse on the market as well because of it's incredible two buttons. I don't negate the fact that everything else is copied. The fact is, I don't care. As I mentioned, NOTHING has grabbed my...

    Microsoft Surface

You compare Surface to Apples products, but the only thing they have in common is the fact that they implement touch screens. I look at Surface and see tables with the screens implemented and the ability for many different features, as I have mentioned above. iPhone... is a phone. How in the...

    Microsoft Surface

I am doubtful that demo you linked to showed off the examples like on the official Surface website. Microsoft showed us exactly what can be done. Surface is not just a touch-screen... it allows for interactivity as well. You can set two music players on the table and drag and drop files to each...

    Removing dents from your car

The process is simple and involves heating the dent with a hairdryer for 30 seconds to a minute. Next, quickly spray the area with compressed air for about 10 seconds. The last step is to take a step back and listen for the dent to pop itself out. Now this is interesting. Has anyone heard of...

    Microsoft Surface

I must say I am surprised. I was completely expecting you to think this was amazing ;-) Who cares if it's similar to Apples technology? That doesn't make this any less impressive. You obviously want to just discredit anything Microsoft does. Reading around various threads, I am finding a LOT of...

    Vantec NexStar LX NAS

As NAS is becoming ever more popular, many are looking for the best bang for the buck. That's where Vantecs $60 unit comes into play. Although it offers IDE support only, it proves to be quite a solid offering. You can read the full review here and discuss it here.

    Ratpadz XT

I can't speak of long-term usage, because I only use that pad on my gaming/benchmarking PC... and I only use it a few times a day. I still love it though. It's just too rough (literally, it bugs my palm) for me to use as an everyday pad.

    Game Emulation In Linux

Revert to your old driver maybe ;-) Just to see if that's the problem. All my testing was done using 1.0-9746. I recommended FCE Ultra for NES on the Mac, as seen in this graph: http://techgage.com/article/game_emulation_in_linux/8

    Game Emulation In Linux

I did stumble on that emulator when I was finishing up the article, but wasn't quite sure what it was (I didn't look that deep since I had all the emulators already), but I will take a look at that one. I really had no idea it supported so many consoles. Thanks for pointing it out.

    Seagate FreeAgent Pro 750GB

That is a good deal... $200 for a 750GB would be impressive enough, but the fact that it's the FreeAgent makes it just that much sweeter. I hate Best Buy, but it would be hard to pass up that deal.
