BMW 128i and 135i Pricing Announced

Spinners? Haha. My opinion on spinners ranges somewhere between "Huge Redneck" and "Too Little Self Esteem". But sadly, that car has the perfect body-style for them :-\

Is Game Copy Protection Ever Going Away?

Hmm, I like that. It even beats out Steam's "You must be online or not game for you" methodology.

    Who is Playing Crysis now

I picked up Crysis as well, but have yet to play it. It's installed and ready for benchmarking this weekend though, so I'll experience a little bit of what it has to offer. CoD4... I haven't played it much except for a few levels required for benchmarking, and WOW... spectacular.

Is Game Copy Protection Ever Going Away?

From our front-page news: I've often made known my thoughts on copy protection and the inconveniences of, but I feel compelled once again to step up and ask, what the heck? Specifically, when will companies learn that copy protection only inconveniences legal customers? One could argue that game...

AGEIA Unveils PhysX APEX Development Components

From our front-page news: Since AGEIA first stepped onto the scene, we've obsessively covered every move they've made in hopes that they would finally leave their mark on the gaming landscape with their physics processor. To date, that has not yet happened, but things are looking good for the...

BMW 128i and 135i Pricing Announced

From our front-page news: When BMW made the announcement a few months ago saying that they were bringing their 1-Series to North American shores, there were mixed reactions. BMW fans overall were impressed and excited, while the rest thought the car was uglier than your first blind date. Who...

    How Gateway handles product samples...

We haven't reviewed a Gateway product in the past, so I am really unsure as to how they handle review samples. I do know, however, how they handle their XHD3000 samples: I would say they mean business...

    Razer Lycosa

You won't see reviews for "another month or so". At least that's what Razer tells me.

    Antec P182 Performance Mid-Tower

I decided to check HD Tune to see how hot these drives were actually getting (3x 320GB Seagates) and they were 58C, 56C and 53C... ridiculous. For benchmarking I hauled out the bay and strapped a fan to it... temps are now in the lower 30Cs.

    Do you have MusicMatch Jukebox?

No worries, I hope it works well for you. I used to use it to capture streaming audio, and it worked exceptionally.

    Can drives lose power-on hours?

Considering I just saw two 750GB ES drives take a crap, I am overly skeptical now :-)

Are Gaming Magazines Going To Die?

Hmm, did they buy them out, or something? I read that magazine before I ever knew what GameStop was... although it could have been because they were slow to catch on in Canada.

    VidaBox Wireless Media Keyboard

VidaBox produces some of the finest HTPCs on the market, but until recently, they've bundled keyboards from other companies. We are taking a look at their first own offering, a wireless solution with built-in trackball. It's compact, sturdy and surprisingly impressive. You can read Kiersten's...

    Antec P182 Performance Mid-Tower

I still don't quite understand. There -is- a 120mm fan in between the PSU and hard-drive (which actually doesn't work for some reason), but that just keeps the PSU cool, not the HDD. Behind the HDD cage, there looks to be a space large enough for a fan, but it just will not fit. The sliding...

    Antec P182 Performance Mid-Tower

In preparing this chassis for some benchmarking, I decided I wanted to put a big fan in front of the bottom HDD bay in order to suck in cool air from the outside and push it through all three drives I have installed there. That desire was short-lived though, since I could not fit one in there...

    Do you have MusicMatch Jukebox?

In a worst-case scenario, you might want to try the demo of Total Recorder as well and see if it will do the same thing: http://totalrecorder.com/productfr_tr.htm It's $2 cheaper and is designed solely for recording, so it might be superior.
