Nine Inch Nails' Brand-New Album Offers Exceptional Distribution Methods

Of course such a cool launch would not go without issues. I ordered this last night and still have not received the code in order to download the album. I should have known better, since the servers were indeed being pounded like there was no tomorrow.

King of Fighters XII Is 100% Hand-Drawn

From our front-page news: Among all of the 2D fighters still remaining, of which there are few, King of Fighters is one series that remains in the hearts of classic gamers everywhere. The series first debuted in the early ninety's as a direct arcade port for the Neo Geo and was likely the first...

OCZ's Neural Impulse Actuator Enters Mass Production

From our front-page news: We've covered numerous OCZ products in the past and have been impressed with their quality again and again, whether it be memory, memory or more memory. So when they came out with their Neural Impulse Actuator, I think I can speak for most of us when I say most people...

My first time building a high end gaming PC.

I am kind of strapped for time right now, but I can lay out the system I would buy for that price point later this evening. As for small icons, you can increase the DPI settings for those on a larger monitor. If you are really uncomfortable with a larger resolution, you could turn it down...

Gamer Sends Signed Xbox 360 for Repairs, Receives Back Clean

As I've never received a console back from RMA, I don't know the process. Since I am in a convenient position (I need to send mine in for RMA), I will hit a few key areas with a marker and see if it comes back clean. That aside, the console that was returned had smudges on certain areas that...

ASUS Xonar now has EAX 5.0 support

Sounds good to me! Let us know how you make out with that ;-)

Gamer Sends Signed Xbox 360 for Repairs, Receives Back Clean

This is true, but even so. I've done the same thing in the past with regards to confirmation and still been screwed over (not exactly with a case like this though). It almost seems likely that some idiot got a hold of the machine and wiped it clean, because I really can't see Microsoft asking...

    EVGA Step-Up Question

No one can recommend that right now. One German site posted "preview" performance and for some reason, the 9800 GTX was slower than a 8800 Ultra. I didn't link to the article in our news because it seems highly unlikely, and chances are it is the result of early drivers or something else. Since...

My first time building a high end gaming PC.

You are using such a small resolution in such a large monitor... so I am guessing you like to have huge icons and text. Moving up to a 20" or 22" with 1680x1050 is going to be somewhat of a shock for you, since the icons and text will be a lot smaller. It only makes sense to upgrade, but just be...

ASUS Xonar now has EAX 5.0 support

Good catch on the DSP Rory and even better to know there is such a difference with the game Bill. I can attest to the Xonar, it's a damn sweet card, even under Linux. I don't get the special effects like EAX and the like as you would in Windows, but even with out it all, music sounds incredible.

    Hilariously bad movie editing...

I couldn't agree more. The entire movie was outrageous in almost all regards. I still loved it overall, though. I find it humorous how Hollywood glorifies hacking as though it's the prettiest thing in the world. Yeah, I'm sure these hackers are going to take the time to code up an extremely...

I haven't heard that monitor brand before... whereabouts did you purchase it? I don't doubt it's quality, but it's strange when I haven't heard of a monitor brand at all. I assume your monitor is small, so just picture it taller and wider. You should go to some B&M store and take a look at...

NVIDIA Uses Undisclosed Trick to Improve 9600 GT Performance

Haha, you are quite the smart ass. It also has no anything, just for the record. Sorry to hear you have the flu... it really seems that it's going around. I know a handful of people who either have a cold or a full-fledged flu.

Gamer Sends Signed Xbox 360 for Repairs, Receives Back Clean

From our front-page news: Thanks to the Red Ring of Death problem that has plagued the Xbox 360 since its launch, there has been no shortage of stories from people who've sent their machine in for repairs. The latest incident is getting a lot of web play. Nathaniel sent his Xbox in to be...

Amazon's MP3 Download Service Now Caters to Linux Users

From our front-page news: I've been a full-time (more like 95%) Linux user for a while now, and one thing I've learned the hard way is that most companies could care less if the OS is supported. Granted, there are a few applications that would require major overhauls in order to function...

Intel's "Silverthorne" Finally Gets a Name: Atom

From our front-page news: It seems like we've been hearing about Intel's Silverthorne processors for quite a while, but up until now, we've lingered off the codename and minor specifics. We knew that they'd be used in ultra-portables, mobile-Internet devices and other small electronics. Today...

Nine Inch Nails' Brand-New Album Offers Exceptional Distribution Methods

From our front-page news: One has to wonder whether or not Trent Reznor is one of the busiest men alive. In less than a year, he released Year Zero and also a remix album, helped Saul Williams out with NiggyTardust!, flipped the record industry the bird on numerous occasions and now has released...

Family Guy's Cleveland Brown Gets His Own Series

From our front-page news: It was only a matter of time before this happened! According to numerous reports, beloved Family Guy character, Cleveland Brown, will be debuting in a spin-off show entitled "Cleveland". Somewhat uncreative, but let's assume the name of the show was chosen in the middle...

NVIDIA Uses Undisclosed Trick to Improve 9600 GT Performance

From our front-page news: NVIDIA's 9600 GT is a well-rounded card as we found out throughout numerous reviews late last month, but according to techPowerUp!, there is a new feature with the card that the company did not relay to reviewers. Even better, after some investigation, it seems most...

    AblePlanet Clear Harmony Headphones

When we met AblePlanet at CES, their Clear Harmony noise canceling headphones really caught our attention. Their built-in noise canceling circuitry is intended to reduce the infiltration of ambient noise, but can they stack up sonically against some serious competition within their price...
