    Q9300 is available

It's not so bad to be honest, as long as you are using a great air cooler. The move to 45nm improved efficiency even further, so it's easier than ever to keep a Quad-Core cool. I have a feeling that the Q9450 with a nice AIR cooler should be able to hit at least 3.2GHz... perhaps a little more...

Intel X48 Motherboards to Show Up This Week

X48 was "supposed" to be DDR3-only, but the motherboard manufacturers won't let it happen, and for good reason.

Intel to Launch First Mobile Quad-Core in Q3?

I have a feeling these will first be found in notebooks with larger chassis', like gaming notebooks. There is going to be so much air to push at full load... it's going to be a sticky situation. The lower overall TDP might help things though, but still... Dual-Cores get HOT as it is now.

What is the point of this...

Yeah... just purchase ONE big thumb drive and keep it on your keychain. Then you'll always know where it is. What a ridiculous product.

Blu-ray Players Up In Price With HD DVD Gone

One DailyTech blogger points out why this article was a waste of time: http://www.dailytech.com/Bluray+Player+Prices+NOT+Rising/article11087.htm Another reason to avoid Tom's Hardware. I feel like a moron for posting it as well, but whatever.

    Not bad speeds

Man... I want that upload speed bad... I upload things ALL the time and suffer with 500Kbits!

Intel to Launch First Mobile Quad-Core in Q3?

From our front-page news: According to DigiTimes, mobile Quad-Cores are on their way, finally, but the initial batch are not going to be cheap. The new Quad-Core will come courtesy of Intel and debut as an Extreme part, similar to how new desktop models are debuted. If these rumors are...

    EA Determined to Purchase Take-Two

From our front-page news: Late last month, we posted about the desired takeover of Take-Two by EA, and since then, it hasn't left the news. At all. I refused to post more about it since it's rather boring, but now it's beginning to get more interesting. EA is getting impatient and we are...

    Brawl

Alright. Now I might be feeling a little left out, but I've never been a fan of the series. I am looking forward to Mario Kart though... it's looking solid.

Windows 7 Launch Confirmed for 2010

Good to hear you are quickly becoming a huge fan of Linux. It certainly has its perks, that's for sure. When I made the move, it took a little getting used to, but with some determination, you quickly begin to understand why it's such a great OS. Not to mention it's damn stable. I occasionally...

Windows Vista SP1 Ships Next Week

If it was shipped already, it definitely won't be. You can download the install in advance though (it doesn't have to be through Windows Update).

NVIDIA 9800GTX and GX2 Get Greenlight

Haha, that card looks great. However, it would look even more killer if it covered and flowed with the entire cooler ;-)

So... I was a little off. SO WHAT? (thanks for giving us the info I could have found myself if I weren't so lazy)

    Gateway XHD3000 30-inch Wide-Screen

I haven't read around much... and there are only two reviews available ( I could get into the reasons why that's the case, but I won't ). Our friends at HotHardware took it for a spin and had this to say: "If you're the type of user that is has the need or is seriously considering a 30-inch...

    Q9300 is available

Buy.com looks to have the exact price-range I was expecting, so all is good. To be honest, I think that is a GREAT price for that processor. Call me giddy, but the processor packs quite a punch. It offers 12MB of cache, 45nm benefits (which I've endlessly whored information for in our reviews...

Intel X48 Motherboards to Show Up This Week

I am surprised X48 has taken THIS long. I expected it to be out in early January, but here it is March and still no sign of it. Given that I've just been sent an X48 board from ASUS, it makes this "rumor" far more of a reality. Normally they won't outright ask to review an early product unless...

What is the point of this...

http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/13/ultra-spacestation-6-offers-up-12gb-flash-drive-six-pack/ Ultra has unveiled a new product... it's a "Space Station". It will include six small thumb drives, 2GB a piece, and each can be "docked". My question is, what? What in the heck is the point of this...

    Gateway XHD3000 30-inch Wide-Screen

That's the bad thing, I can't test out this display prior to buying it. Normally I ride on review samples to test out first (because I am greedy like that), but Dell has none of these available. If it's not for gaming, I am not sure where to go. I loved the brightness of the 3008WFP and the...

Zalman Reserator XT Hybrid Liquid Cooling System

Hmm, I am not sure on dimensions. Perhaps Greg can take care of that once he sees this post. If I can remember correctly, it is probably around 6" tall, 10" deep and 6" wide. I could be way off, but that sounds semi-reasonable.

NVIDIA 9800GTX and GX2 Get Greenlight

You are addicted to checking out your internet speed, aren't you ;-) And yeah, if your connection loads that slow, I don't feel so bad. Normally, Chinese sites load slow but fine... but that one was ridiculous.
